Late AF but BFN

I've been trying for a while. I'm pretty regular but am now three days late. Tested today but its BFN. Got so hopeful and then came crashing down. Now just want my AF to come so I can get back on the horse. Am thinking I may have willed my period into not coming? What other people's experiences with negative tests and late AFs?

I had this with my first pregnancy. I did 3 tests and all came back negative. I then had a very light bleed about 5 days later which I thought was my period. Turned out it was an implantation bleed. I tested again about 2 weeks after that when I read about implantation bleeds and got a BFP. Unfortunately, I then had a MC but a BFN doesn't always mean you are not pregnant. Maybe there just isn't enough hormone there to be detected yet. Try again in a few days if AF hasn't arrived. Will keep my fingers crossed for you. Xxx

With my last pregnancy I was a week late before I got a positive test. I too am very regular, 'knew' I was pregnant & nearly bankrupted us with the number of tests I bought. The result is now nearly 7 weeks old!
