Is this a line?

Hello all,

I've just POAS this morning (not exactly FMU as I was up at 5.30), and I can see a very feint line. It could be an Evap line? (I'm not entirely sure what they are but I've heard them mentioned on here!)

I don't seem to be able to post the pic here from my iPad.

I'm 12DPO and period was due yesterday, and I had some spotting at 8PO.....

Thanks.

Does the line look grey or coloured? Did it appear within the allocated test reading time?

PoppadomPreach · 01/11/2012 09:08

I'd say congratulations! i see a line!

chimchar · 01/11/2012 09:12

i see a line too!

Hope its the answer you wanted.x

Mrscoghoul · 01/11/2012 09:12

If that appeared within the time allowed I'd say that it's a line! (I also got my BFP at 5.30am!) congrats!

LargeGlassofRed · 01/11/2012 09:14

Yes it's positive congrats :)

Scraggyanna · 01/11/2012 09:16

It appeared after 5 mins on a Superdrug test. The instructions say to leave for three mins and then one more minute if you don't see anything, so thereabouts.

Sorry for my rubbish linking skills!!

Thanks all for looking and huge congrats Mrscoghoul! Was your line a nice clear, dark line?

Definitely the news I wanted, but still fairly nervous, I think I might have to test again tomorrow with FMU, and the day after...and the day after....!

Yes. Definately a line. I had a couple like yours before my dark line. A first responce early responce should give you a darker line as they are more sensitive. Your lines should get darker over the next few days. Grin

Scraggyanna · 01/11/2012 10:54

Hey Frustrated, I really hope so! I can foresee a shopping trip tonight to get a Clear Blue or FRER test!!

I have no symptoms at all, is that mormal? I could probably force myself to imagine that I have some if I tried my best, but I really don't!! Smile

Oh dear Scraggy I've just realised that I was very misleading in my post - I thought you had got your line at 5.30am which is why I mentioned my BFp but while I did get a BFP at 5.30am - it was 28th June 2011 not today! I wasn't very clear- I do have lovely 8mo DS here to prove it now though! But when I did test my first line was feint but then got darker each day (I did about 6 tests in the end)

Congratulations though :)

Iheartpasties · 01/11/2012 11:25

oh yes i see a line. def do another tomorrow!! congrats!!!

LegArmpits · 01/11/2012 11:27

Def a line!

Scraggyanna · 01/11/2012 11:32

Mrscoghoul, no worries, mine was also fairly misleading! I was up at 5.30 for the toilet and then went back to bed and did the test at 8.30, hence jot exaclty my FMU. Nice to hear a success story though! I think the plan is to buy lots more tests after work and do some more testing this evening and tomorrow!!

Oops, sorry for the spelling mistakes, should be not exactly!!

Condensation lines aren't pink, and I can see pink on yours. Clearblue isn't as sensitive. Do you usually wake up at 530 for a wee? Testing with that wee would be fmu. I did about 6 in total, and yours looks like the 2nd one I did. my 1st was so faint I had to shine a light through from the back to see the pink

Scraggyanna · 01/11/2012 12:07

Thanks Frustrated, yes the line definitely looks pink to me.

I'm sometimes up in the night for the loo.

OK, I'll avoid the Clear Blue and head for the FRER test.

Thanks for the advice.

No worries. Didn't want anyone seeing your news before you had officially told!!! (Boss? Mother?! Lol)

Is it sinking in yet?

Scraggyanna · 02/11/2012 19:31

Thanks Chimchar. Haven't told anyone apart from hubby, although I am self employed, so consider my boss myself told!!

Not really sinking in, me and hubby are quite giggly! Only showing at 1-2 weeks on a Clear Blue so feels a bit early to tell anyone, but we're both gagging to tell someone so I'm sure it won't be long!!
