Not sure when to test?

Ok so Af was due yesterday/today but so far I have had nothing, normally I get a little brownish discharge (sorry tmi) I have had a few niggles which I have put down to period pain but I have nothing other than that. I have read that it could be implantation but when would the best time to test be? Do I need to wait until I'm a few more days late? I was going to buy a test at lunch but what does everyone think?

Hi jen. It really depends on what test you are going to use. Most tests won't show up anything until AF is actually due. But the more sensitive ones like FRER you can use up to 4 or 5 days before. I would definitely test ASAP but then I've got no patience/willpower whatsoever! Good luck!

Jen they do say to test using FMU as it is more concentrated and less likely to give a false negative but I'm sure there must come a point when the pg hormone is so strong that it gives a positive anytime of day. Again if it was me I'd buy a pack of 2 and POAS now and again in the morning if necessary!!

happylass I have bought a pack of 2 and intend on POAS when I get home (feel a bit weird about doing it at work lol) if its negative then ill test again in the morning. Thanks for your help an fingers crossed for a BFP
