Gender prediction

Apparently the Chinese gender predicition chart is 93% accurate? Although I can only tell you in 3 months time if it is correct for me.

Is it accurate for anyone else?

I posted this on another thread, but thought it might be interesting to start a new one to see how accurate it is with members of mumsnet!

First child wrong (had girl, but everybody thought i was going to have a boy!)

The first was wrong it said boy and I had a girl but then looked across at the chart and it said 50/50 so I don't suppose its right or wrong.

Second one was right I had a boy and then looked across and 83% had boys.

my friends and i have been using one of these. just looked at yours and some of the months are different, including for me the month we are now trying!!!!

the one we use is on www.holodeck.com. it is a family page, go right to the bottem and go into pregnancy and then chinese calander which is the top link.

so far in the 37 people my group have asked they have all been right. the one that was wrong was conceived on the first day of a month, and the month before was the other sex.

would be interested to hear other peoples views.

Every old wives tale predicted I would have a boy but the chinese astrological chart adn the wedding ring on a string both said a girl - I had a girl so it must be true Grin

Just tried both of these charts.

According to one I am having a boy and according to the other I am having a girl !!!?

Still none the wiser - I am so impatient and would have found out at the scan but DH wanted a surprise.

yeah, I noticed a few differences between charts too!! I did the ring on a string thing too, but I don't know which way means a girl and which way means a boy? It is all good fun tho!

had another look at those charts, we are supposed to be using "Chinese lunar ages" at the date of conception

Gawd, it is all starting to get a bit tricky!!

This way predicts I am having a boy.. will see :)
