I'm new here and wondered if you clever people could help me out?

I tested positivly pregnant on 18th October, my period was due on 16th and I am a straight forward 28 day-like-clockwork type gal so this put me at almost exact 4 weeks and 4 days (which is about what the clear blue also told me)

The clear blue indicated it had been approx '2-3 weeks since conception'

This where I am getting confused- could someone help me with what dates that covers because I can't work out if tht means I work backwards from 18th October or forwards from 18th September (start of my last period)

Thanks all.

Round oct 4th. If your 4weeks and 4days take off two weeks and count back 2wks and 4days!

It's confusing because pregnancy time starts from the day of your last period rather than the day you conceived.

My partner and I had Intercourse on 28,29th and I THINK possibly the 2nd or 3rd (I can't remember exactly which one)

Sperm lives for about 3-5days inside you, sometimes up to 7 days so yes that would fit! The advice if your ttc is have sex before ovulation as well as during for your best chances. Seems that's what happened Grin

Congratulations, little people are lots of funWink
