Clomid related question

Hi all clomid users. Have a bit of a weird question to ask. I was on clomid for just over a year before finally conceiving and then actually gave birth 7months ago. Obviously I stopped the clomiphene when i fell pregnant.

However 5 months after starting the clomid treatment I began to have these 'spots' under both arms in ampits just before and during the start of my period. They were very painful - a bit like boils under the skin - some the size of peas, others like marbles.

Dr couldn't explain them. I had them for the first 3 months of prgnancy when my period would have been due.
Now I've given birth I haven't had any until now. I'm not on clomid now as my period seems to be regular.

I'm sure it's clomid related and I wonder if anyone else has experienced anything similar?

no, I'm on clomid (cycle 2) and I haven't, sorry!

I had four months of clomid but haven't had your experience.

Have never heard of this nor is it listed in the possible side effects. Congrats on your baby. You got there in the end!!

Oh well maybe it's just me then. Yes we got there in the end at the time it felt like forever but I suppose 13 months of clomid wasn't that long in the great scheme of things.

Why don't you get a referral through your GP? Not meaning to sound flippant, have you changed your deodorant/washing powder/anything that could bring this reaction on?

No nothing like that. It's not actually on the skin but underneath it. When I mentioned it to dr before I was pregnant he said it could be trapped hairs due to shaving but i really don't think it is as it comes at exactly the same time each month. Seems to be related to my cycle. Of course when i get them i try and make an appt at docs but there nearly always gone by the time i get an appt - typical!!
