Hi everyone - I've started the new thread as our original one is nearly full.

I really hope that this is the one where we all get our BFPs and don't have to experience any more heartache.

OP posts:
messtins · 03/12/2012 22:44

Betty that's fantastic news - congratulations!
Janie welcome back, you must feel like a weight has been lifted. Cross on your behalf that you had all that unnecessary worry, but at least you can get back on the TTC trail now.

I'm thinking I'm about to be out again for this month, got a bit of pre-AF spotting (could pretend it's implantation but am just kidding myself).
Trying to be pleased for Kate, but actually feel Envy that (as far as we know) it's just come so easily for her. I only have genuine excitement for you ladies who have struggled through adversity to get your little beans!

KittyBump · 03/12/2012 22:50

oooh excellent Betty very happy for you! and what a nice thing for DH to find on top of the loo :) that's it after this post I'm becoming BumpKitty :)

Blol great news about your scan, I read your post at 3pm when I was sat in a boring training course and I sent you magic good luck vibes :)

Sorry about BFN munchin are your still in the running? I'd guess so if no AF

Hello janie what brilliant news - and how lucky they double checked!

I was happy when I heard about Kate and William, but then when I found out she wasn't 12 weeks yet I felt really sorry for her - imagine that amount of pressure, next time I am pg I will probably tell no-one for as long as possible (except you lot obviously and DH)

BumpKitty · 03/12/2012 22:58

Also, (and note the name change!) at what point in your cycle do you get sore boobs? I nearly had to hold mine whilst driving home from my course - would have been a bit weird for my colleague in the passenger seat though so I resisted :)

BelissimaLol · 03/12/2012 23:02

Congrats Betty! The B name is obviously the way to go. I got my bfp a couple of days after I changed mine.
So kitty yours must be around the corner Grin
I'm hoping ill get some sleep tonight. Feel so much better. Thank you for the good luck vibes. Night all.

janiewoozle · 03/12/2012 23:05

Thanks girls. To be honest I've been too happy to be angry, it is annoying to have that fear hanging over us but can't turn back the clock, so getting worked up about it won't help

So have there been some name changes here? I'm soooo out if the loop!

janiewoozle · 03/12/2012 23:05

Oh and congrats to everyone who's got BFPs!! Yay!!

andadietcoke · 03/12/2012 23:30

Betty whoop! Congratulations. Don't think we've 'met' per se, but yay!!!

andadietcoke · 03/12/2012 23:32

I still need a 'b' name and now a Christmas name! I considered bandietcoke and then decided it made me sound a bit militant. Suggestion welcome x

JamesAndTheGiantBanana · 03/12/2012 23:41

Jane, amazing news! You must be so relieved not to have to face chemo and wait a whole year to ttc. Smile

Congratulations for the bfp's! ( stupid iPhone app won't let me view posts as I type so I can't see who it was now grr) glad I nudged you towards poas now Wink

Blol glad you saw your little sac, hope next time you get to see a heartbeat and everything Smile

Messtins, sorry you think the witch got you.

Sorry I waffled on about opk vs hpt, I do like experimenting! I won't get my hopes up about the faint line then, sounds like it's nothing. Impatient sod, aren't I? Grin

IBelieveInPink · 03/12/2012 23:47

Oh my goodness! What an exciting day to catch up on!
Yay lol on seeing blob. So pleased it looks positive. :)
Welcome back janey, great to hear good news like that.
Congrats to betty on a fab BFP! There really is quite a run at the moment!
considers fitting some extra b's in name somewhere
coke what about boozeanddietcoke then you can change it to add a no at the front when it works it's magic?!

BrieMonster · 04/12/2012 06:45

I like boozeandadietcoke!

Glad you got that reassurance blol, and not long til the next one! I am a little jealous (but delighted for you) but will try and maintain my positive blind approach until I buckle and phone the doc in a right state.

Great news janie and betty... What a roll. Who's next? I have lost track a bit, in my own little world.

Need a kick up the bum today. Really must go for a swim after a week off with earache. And must must must regain my healthy approach to feeding this poppyseed/bean/whatever it is just now. Sorry I know this is not the right thread.. Just had to write it down, might help me remember. Chocolate not good.

Fingers crossed for implantation messtins. That's what it was for me first time round when I was oblivious to such things. Would love it to be the same for you!

BelissimaLol · 04/12/2012 07:33

How about:
bringmeadietcoke
buymeadietcoke
bigdietcokefan
borntodrinkdietcoke

I also like the booze one though.
Hope everyone is feeling ok today.
Once again thanks for all the messages!

andadietcoke · 04/12/2012 07:48

Heehee. Loving all of those. The name came from a trip to McDonald's - order went something along the lines of Big Mac, fries, chicken sandwich, cheeseburger etc etc and a diet coke. The diet coke was the only bit that was for me but I was well aware of how many calories there were in everything else I was ordering and it made me smile.

Boozeanddietcoke it is. I'd thought of beeranddietcoke but that made me feel a bit ergh - I like your suggestion better!

blundercatsHO · 04/12/2012 08:04

Boozeandadietjinglebell?

BettyFlutterbly · 04/12/2012 08:17

Thanks for all your congrats messages. I am smiling from the inside out but know I shouldn't get too carried away.
I am walking to work and typing so will come back at lunchtime and write a proper reply.
Definitely getting a good vibe from Fred! Let's all spend xmas alcohol free and throwing up!!!

IBelieveInPink · 04/12/2012 08:25

Just occurred to me. What if Kate is one of you! Bless her, she'd probably the same as any of us, freaking out about all the scary shiz going on and chatting random stuff to anonymous friends on t'internet. Ooh.

blundercatsHO · 04/12/2012 08:59

I know how we could test that, pink. Get everyone on the thread to say a naughty word. Kate just won't be able to bring herself to join in.

I'll start Biscuit Biscuit boobies

BombasticPeanut · 04/12/2012 09:26

Hmm blundercats are you sure this isn't cunning subterfuge? I reckon Kate could say boobies, it's probably an upper-class word for cake or something. I'm fairly sure I said bugger earlier, and probably bollocks also, so it can't be me! (Both of those beginning with B however. Good signs...!)

anda hmm bottleofdietcoke? burpingdietcoke? bouncycastlesanddietcokedontmix? Gosh I'm useful to have around...

brie post on any Fred you like, including this one! I actually prefer it when you BFPers are still around - keeps the thread positive, much harder to take when you all disappear to the 'due in' threads and us ttc-ers are left behind! Now go for a swim

I'm daring to feel positive today. Long may that last! xxx

JamesAndTheGiantBanana · 04/12/2012 09:33

I dunno, I imagine Kate has an obstetrician and a scan machine of her own, on call 24/7 for reassurance and stupid questions! It must be a terrifying thing, carrying the royal heir. I wonder why they announced it so soon? Perhaps they thought someone would blab about it to some sleazy magazine? I hope it all goes well for her.

I didn't poas this morning, decided to step away from the evil sticks (at least til tomorrow) Grin still only 10dpo so I wouldn't see anything anyway.

BraveLilBear · 04/12/2012 09:42

James that's impressive resolve!

Boo to BFN munchin - do you think you're totally out or could AF be teasing you?

Great news Betty! I think that must be the quickest ever BFP! Xmas Grin Fx it's a sticky bean...

blundercatsHO · 04/12/2012 09:51

You've got me bombastic, I am she!

Not.

But I have learnt a new word as a result, and subterfuge will be my word of the day.

I agree about having the bfpers around, its definitely a positive thing for me.

james, how are the boobs?

BaublesForSally · 04/12/2012 10:21

There we go, a B name change and also a bit festive!

Let's hope that works. I think I'm about 4dpo so... let's see. Also confirms that I am definitely not Kate.

I like the bfpers sticking around. It makes me feel optimistic.

BraveLilBear · 04/12/2012 11:22

Yay for the namechanges!

Hope you're thinking some nice sticky implantation thoughts Sally

Have you managed to throw in subterfuge yet Blundercats?

BombasticPeanut · 04/12/2012 11:37

Excellent name change baubles! FX our 'b's bring us luck and sticky beans for Christmas! I'm 6dpo I think, when are you going to poas? I could use a buddy to stop me wasting money on hpk's at 10dpo more like 8dpo really I was thinking of having a go on the 12th but could hang on another couple of days

Blundercats looking forward to finding out how 'subterfuge' gets used...!

Well done james, you are a stronger woman than I.

blundercatsHO · 04/12/2012 12:06

Funny you should say that, I was wondering whether Kate had wished they used a little more subterfuge when announcing her reasons for going into hospital at this early stage.

Huh? Huh?
