I'm with you Bunny. We can sit in a corner and complain and moan together.

winkle2 · 27/10/2012 20:24

I'll join you too x

Chuckaluck · 27/10/2012 21:21

Congrats Purple! Great news for u!

I will join in with feeling sorry for myself! Am babysitting for 6 kids on my own, I am a fool!!

Thanks for all the advice on things for motility. Off to boots for multi vits tomorrow. DH doesn't smoke, we eat ok and he drinks maybe 2 pints once a week. Don't want to become too obsessed and deny him that!!

So glad we get an extra hour in bed tomorrow Grin and not for TTC reasons!!!

winkle2 · 27/10/2012 21:35

Sounds like your oh is doing all the right things already. I wouldn't deny him his two pints either! Did the docs say the low motility was down to anything?

Pipbin · 27/10/2012 22:08

My DH drinks a little, about 2 pints a month.
This didn't change, so don't deny your DH a drink or two.

I've decided that next month I'm not going to track anything, just DTD every other day.

Bunnygirlie · 27/10/2012 22:54

To top it all off I think I have thrush, if this was a symptom i'd happily put up with it but this is just a pain in the you know where lol

Bunnygirlie · 27/10/2012 22:55

Sorry it that was a tad tmi!

Oh tell me about it Bunny, I had cystitis on the all important week this month. The things we go though hey.

Natural yoghurt really does work. Cheap unflavoured stuff from a basics range does the job.

janey1234 · 27/10/2012 23:06

Pip and bunny - as well as yoghurt for - ahem - your current predicament, try swapping to full fat milk. It could be a massive coincidence but someone (maybe one of you girls?) told me it helped with female fertility. Anyway I started drinking a full fat hot choc before bed (ha ha for medicinal reasons - what a treat though!) and noticed loads if EWCM this month vs none the two months before. You never know, am sure it's a coincidence, but it's one thing to try that's not much of a hardship?

Pipbin · 27/10/2012 23:10

Well I have always had loads and loads of EWCM, and I go to bed with a mug of ovaltine.

janey1234 · 27/10/2012 23:22

So much for that tip Sad, sorry

Liking your ovaltine tip though - yum....

Chuckaluck · 27/10/2012 23:22

DH had chemotherapy about 4 years ago so the low motility could be due to that but they don't really know! I think you are right Pipbin, just DTD and try upon try not to worry!

Pipbin · 27/10/2012 23:42

Don't feel bad Janey, it makes sense.
Milk causes the production of mucus in your nose, so why not your hoo-ha!
Also, I'm guessing I might have more milk in my diet than most people as I don't eat meat, so I eat more cheese.

Rache1S · 28/10/2012 00:07

Great news about the BFP Purple! We are on an Elderberry roll!!! Grin

Sorry about AF Bunny, what a total bummer and I think you're perfectly normal to wallow for a while because we all know TTC is an emotional rollercoaster.

Who's next to POAS? Is anyone in the 2WW?

Zombies I had my normal pre-AF cramps and twinges from about 10DPO onwards. Nothing out of the ordinary.

winkle2 · 28/10/2012 00:07

Interesting tip about the milk. I drink skimmed - years of dieting!!

Pip I tried that a couple of months ago. Didn't work. Honestly I've tried every tactic!!

ZombiesAreClammyDodgers · 28/10/2012 01:28

rache I'm at the beginning of my 2 3 ww. Intend to POAS around the 9th. Till then every bout of indigestion or hunger pang will be taken as a symptom Blush
FWIW this doesn't feel like a month where I get lucky, though have done all the right things. We'll see! Fx anyway.

Quodlibet · 28/10/2012 07:03

Well Elderberries I am checking in this morning with my very own BFP!!!

Woke up early because of howling wind here, and even though I wasn't planning to test this morning I thought I should for some reason. Did my internet cheapy dipstick and on first look it looked like nothing - but then I picked it up to check a minute later and there was a faint pink line.
I had to ring DP and wake him up at 6 in the morning so that I could tell him on Facetime! I've also told my cousin who I am staying with and we did a secret early morning dance around the kitchen. I'm not really sure it's sunk in yet....

Fingers crossed for all those still waiting - this has proved an unbelievably lucky thread so far.

happylass · 28/10/2012 07:09

Woohoo Quod congrats to you and all the others that have had BFPs this week! This is turning out to be a very lucky thread Grin Fx for everyone POAS soon!

paah · 28/10/2012 07:27

Awesome quod loving your kitchen dance story!

Congrats to everyone with bfps, it certainly seems to be a lucky fred, I should spend more time here!

Currently 7dpo and time is dragging, but should know one way or the other by this time next week.

janey1234 · 28/10/2012 07:43

Aaah quod that's brilliant news, massive massive congratulations! How many days DPO are you?

I'm bloody knackered - last two nights I've woken up at 3 needing a pee (know it's a hormone thing) but then been completely unable to get back to sleep for about three hours. Not sure if that's a pg thing or just because I'm excited!

Quodlibet · 28/10/2012 07:46

Thanks Janey - got that to look forward to then! 13DPO over here.

ZombiesAreClammyDodgers · 28/10/2012 08:29

Congrats quod!!! Oh my god, that's number 5!!
{drumroll}Smile

Pipbin · 28/10/2012 08:49

Congratulations Quoid. Please stay here like our other graduates.

Still no AF proper here, just nasty brown spotting.

HazleNutt · 28/10/2012 08:58

Congrats Quod! So many little Elderberries this month, there must be something in the air.

yorkiebilb · 28/10/2012 09:29

Congratulations Quod and all you other BFP's! Fx to everyone else! Grin

Can I ask a really stupid question? I've been taking my bbt every morning at 7 cos you're supposed take it at the same time every day. If the clocks have changed isn't that going to affect the accuracy of the monitoring? Silly question I know but it has thrown me!
