Looks like I'm out this month.. Bfn yesterday at 9 DPO And so e spotting today and sore boobs so looks like AF on her nasty way. So disappointed. Think I will take a break from ttc as finding it so disappointing every month,

Poco - Totally agree that once you have your BFP it takes aaaaaggggeeess for anything to really happen.

BUT believe me time flies - make sure you are doing everything you will not be able to do this time next year! Like lie ins, early beds, reading for hours, all day shopping trips, Cinema trips, libraries, holidays to non child friendly places etc

Just thought if you had the ££ you could always pay for a private scan before Christmas?

I had a scan at the EPU at 6-7 weeks as had had a small bleed, got to see the heart beat which meant we felt safe to tell our close families at 8 weeks. Otherwise would have made a couple of family parties a bit more difficult. They were sworn to secrecy though...

littlepink I'm sorry to hear that. Still quite early though... If not you're still in with a chance for a later November BFP! I reckon I'll be in the same boat as I'm pre-AF cramping today

No prize this time AF is making her presence felt. So gutted, was last opportunity for the 'you'll be pregnant again within a year', after my mc on 26/11/11. Don't know why the time limit in my head was so important, just a hope to hold onto I guess.

HoobleDooble I'm so sorry to hear of your MC and I'm sorry you didn't have any luck with AF.

chookford I'm just fine thanks, apart from having to nip out of work and run to Next to buy a new top as the one I wore to work this morning kept slipping down and you could see my bra. I was too self conscious to ignore it and keep tugging at my top. And it's not really the look I was going for in an office of men.. mortified!
I hope your cold gets better soon.. and I double hope it's a symptom cold!

Feeling a bit sad and very confused today....
Some...not cramps but that sort of feeling, going on but yet I still have headache and I actually feel drunk, or hungover anyway! Even tho I haven't had a drink in ages (if you don't count the bottle of lager I didn't manage the other night) slightly queezy/hungry which is wierd
Still a bit of a lack of cm and tmi but wee was really sort of a light chalky yellow colour the other day......and still bfns

Taking I can understand that totally!! I work with thousands of men (literally) and I would do exactly the same! Well lets keep our fx it is a symptom but Im not getting excited yet!

nicnicw DPO means days past ovulation and AF is aunt flow (your period)

I would say maybe give it another couple of days and test again... it is possible to get false negatives I got 3 when pg with dd, unfortunatley that is all I can really suggest as the symptoms you describe all sound positive.. I will keep my fx that the next test brings some happy news and af buggers off for the next 9months!

Hooble sorry that AF has caught you again - totally get the "within a year" milestone thing. You have these things in your head which are like superstitions. DH read about the Chinese Baby calendar and refused to start trying in July/Aug as those would be "boy" months and he'd like a girl. Totally crazy as we'll be lucky & happy to get what we are given, but I couldn't change his mind.

Sorry Angie meant to add 11 DPO is still pretty early to test not that it's stopped me And your other symptoms can just as easily be pg related as not

mumsbag I rang my mum straight away and told her but she has been sworn to secrecy mainly because my DH said to me a couple of weeks ago that he bet the first person I would tell would be my mum, and i was like er no. Then I told him last night I got a poss BFP, and his reaction was i bet you already told your mum... hee hee! No one else though. :) cant stop smiling / crying :)

choc no I don't feel unwell apart from the strange hangover :/ I don't really get ill, don't even get hangovers! Haha so it's a bit wierd. I'm trying not to pin all my hopes on a bfp but I really wanted it to either happen last month or this month to avoid popping late summer, I'm so glad that I've got all of you to talk to though! Don't think my nerves could take it doing it by myself. I have dh obv but he doesn't wanna chat about cm and sore boobs lol

poco I have sworn a couple of people to secrecy that were trying. Mainly because I told dh not to tell anyone till Xmas if we get a bfp before then mainly because I don't like gel very well with his mum and when I was pg with dd I asked them not to say anything till the 12 week mark but she blabbed it to everyone and it really pissed me off not that I needed any hell being a cow xx

I just ate nearly half a block of marzipan left over from making DS's birthday cake and now I feel yuck. Haha bit of trivia for you there...

angie I have so many symptoms that I am trying to convince myself that they are something else ...... until my boob tingles/gives stabby pain and then I can't help but wonder if I am really that lucky. DS was a 1 shag wonder all them years ago, surely my body still can't be that fertile 15+ years later after wall to wall pill taking?

angie I am the same. Last time boobies felt like this I was feeding my DS ...... and that was a looooooong time ago, but once felt never forgotten!! fx for you hun, hope it isn't AF playing silly games
