I am a first timer so thought I knew everything and have finally calmed down and thought to myself what do I do if I am, do I ring the drs what do I do?

No panic! Ring in the morning and make an appointment. They'll tell you what happens next. Congratulations! X

Just realised I am 9 DPO but still believe the bn from this afternoons FRER. They claim to be able to detect pregnancy 6 days before AF due.

Has anyone else got a positive this early or a negative then a BFP later?

little, last cycle I got my bfp at 9dpo, although it was very faint. I don't know if that was because it was quite early or because it was a MC.
I use the internet cheapy tests.

I haven't but I know someone who didn't test positive till her AF was 3 weeks late! Not that that's common, but there's more info here... www.countdowntopregnancy.com/pregnancy-test/ looks like 9dpo has quite a high risk of false negative. X

LittlePink For reasons known only to my body, I did get a +ve result about 2 weeks after AF was due and now I have an 18mo DD sleeping upstairs! It isn't common like mumbags says but it can happen.

So today I'm on CD 19 today and have period like pains - is this possibly ov?? Last time I was TTC I had a 32-35 day cycle but this is 1st cycle since coming off the pill so not sure what to expect. DTD last night and reckoning we should do it again tonight!

little I think it detects 6 days before in something like 50% of pregnancies and gets higher for each day after, try not to be disheartened I did 2 frer yesterday and day before but got bfns, will just have to wait and see if af turns up Friday now :) xx

Urgh, starting to feel all 'heavy' in my tummy :'(

When I had dd I didn't get a positive until a week after af due, despite testing like a mad woman every day!

Another IC bfn for me thismorning, still have this damned headache! And feel a bit sick but got little cramps and heavy feeling in tummy. So not a good start to the day! How's everyone? Coffees on.... Xx

Morning everyone - got my and sat supposedly working from home today but clearly not It's DS's 2nd birthday today so he's enjoying it at nursery while I get to feel guilty. I will go and pick him up early though maybe

I'm 13 DPO today, thought AF was coming on Sunday as had alot of pinky red discharge, but then that cleared up yesterday. Nothing yet today either.
Tested last night with a poundland cheapy but BFN, so determined to sit on hands at least until tomorrow.
With DS I got my BFP on 14 DPO and had managed not to test early. He took 10 cycles and when I think of the wasted tests I did early in previous cycles I kick myself. Have then done it again this month and wasted tests at 8DPO10 DPO and 12 DPO - even though I knew I should wait..

Angie I have the heavy womb feeling too - totally going to be AF getting herself ready but you keep hoping don't you...

Anyway - looks like I will be easily distracted today so will be back later xx

Congratulations Poco - that is good news.

Depending on what your Doctors surgery is like, you might get an appt to confirm or they may just say to make a booking in appt with the midwife for when you are around 10 weeks.

Nothing much happens until then - you will have the booking in appt and then get an appt for the 12 week scan.

You now have the even more frustrating wait for that while not really being able to tell anyone.

Its so crazy I have been imagining like how i would feel when I got to this point and not to sound ungrateful its a bit of an anti climax at the moment, mainly because I have to wait until after christmas to tell everyone, and wait before I can go buy everything. Also I don't feel pregnant, my boobs are sore as hell but thats about it. I am pretty sure all the books I have read said about all this nasty morning sickness and cravings etc etc and I have nothing. I feel a bit like a fraud... but a happy fraud!
