Taking I have my ticket... I also have a rather large pininc hamper full of goodies to keep us going on this months bus! A large selection of cakes, biscuits and sweets!!

After an incredibly boring meeting at work I now need a huge anyone care to join?!

I'm pleased that the doctors have been willing to give me the tests, the unfortunate thing is that when the tests have been done they haven't taken my curcumstances in to account, for instance the lady on the result line told me that I was pregnant(not her fault, she's only reading out whats on her screen), if the doctor had taken the result within the context of when my last menstral cycle was and how many days post ovulation I was and then that the hcg level was only 10.6 then I think they wouldn't/shouldn't be telling me I'm pregnant. If I hadn't of know a bit about hcg hormone doubling every 48 hours and cp's (thanks to you ladies) then I could of just taken at face value that I was pregnant and then not found out until the 12 week scan that I had had a cp.

I feel that the doctor should of seen the result within the contect of everything else and ordered up another test not leave me trying to seek permission to have another.

Oh lexi how awful for you. I really hope that this month is less stressful and painful for you. It may be worth writing to your doctor about this, or the practice manager, just so they understand and can be more considerate of you and others in future.

I'm really hoping that this month is good for me. AF arriving so late really got my hopes up. However, she has kindly disappeared again so DH and I will be getting some practise action in. If we have no luck this month I am going to try out the OPKs I think.

Glad I have a valid ticket for the bus. I have brought along some music and will be hoping to encourage a sing-song as we travel along

lexi sorry to hear about your ordeal! But well done for dealing with it calmly, I on the other hand would be kicking up a stink with said receptionist, lol! Im receptionists/teachers nightmare sometimes :/ hah! Lol, I am nice really.....
So I think my bfp is due 5/11 (my wedding anniversary :D) according to an ovulation calendar, which says that this week is my most fertile (rabbit week then?!) but af came on 12/10 this month.... Is that because its a 5 week month?

I have no idea what cycle I'm on...

BTW, what's with all the food? You won't want it once the bus is moving and you get morning travel sickness!

Lexi They really have been clueless at your doctor's surgery haven't they. I'm sorry they haven't been more helpful. I definitely would be writing a very strongly worded email to them.

Angie Your cycle is a certain amount of days, so yes, AF will arrive at different stages depending on the month (and how many weeks are in the month). I had to explain this to my DH. He couldn't get his head around that AF didn't arrive on the 4th of every month (for example). That if a cycle was 28 days, then AF could arrive on the 4th October, and then on the 1st November, and then again on the 29th November. Poor lamb, he got it eventually.

That's the difference - anxiety puts me right off food (therefore I manage to convince myself I have morning sickness every month).

This is a tricky month for me - I miscarried in spring and my due date would have been Oct 31st... really hoping my period doesn't come on the same day, and that I get a BFP on 1st... I have my fingers crossed for all of you.

Thanks taking! I really should know this stuff! Lol, well the calendar tells me to test from 5-9 November, so I guess my bfp due date needs changing lol xx

Thanks everyone for your support, you must get fed up of hearing my ever evolving story, I know I am but it's nice to have somewhere to vent otherwise I think I would send myself and DH mad.

Nurse has phoned and they'll do further blood test but not till next tuesday.

But in my defence this is my first planned pregnancy and not a great big "surprise I'm here!!!"

What a chatty bus this morning, loving the cakes but really should be busy at work instead of dreaming of freshly baked flapjacks and mugs of tea.

Contrary to this mornings post about no signs of ov I now have sore sharp pulling feelings in my ovary region (both sides) so hoping that my soy iso... are working and has pulled ov forward a bit (a whole week earlier than expected) definately hope its not working so well that its both sides that are producing eggs.

Taking I have to explain cycle lengths to DH every month and I still dont think he understands.

jelly I should be cleaning my house but instead I'm sat on my arse watching friends and MNing :)

Hello all, is there room for me? I'm new to this site, having decided I don't want to go it alone anymore. 3rd cycle ttc after mc #1 in early August at 11 weeks. My cycle's all over the place since the mc but I don't think AF would be due before about 5 November.

Hi all! Thanls for all the support. So after a second faint line this morning I went and got a digital test, and am definately pregnant! Cant really wrap my head around it yet, when I was pregnant with DS I had morning sickness early on so sensed I was pg, but now I dont have any symptoms. Apart from being hungry pretty much all the time. Thats my excuse anyway..

God pass me the flapjack I'm having a serious mid week slump.

Had a wobbly moment early- my colleague brought in her 5 week old son to show off and was enjoying lovely baby snuggles when I thought I was going to start crying. Held it together but I can't stop thinking I'd have a decent bump by now if I hadn't mc so china I know where you are coming from
