Welcome to the November 2012 BFP bus for those of us that didn't make it on the October Bus and anyone else hoping for a BFP in November.

surrenders the haribo I am going to have to encase the plastic in concrete and barbed wire at the weekend to stop myself from going and buying loads of tests cos I will be going like a loon lol

I need some help/advice here! Am not that much of an expert on pregnancy tests, with my DS I actually only did the digital one from clearblue when I was 4 days late. Did a first response this afternoon and have a faint line, which I believe is still a positive? But how faint is faint? I mean I can see it, but is v light pink? Will do another in the morning I suppose.... Starting to think I am just imagining pink lines now... Will see what DH says when he gets home.

Thanks Angie and Little! Will as said test again tomorrow to hopefully reassure myself. Am allowing myself to get slightly excited, but mostly nervous!

A line is a line! I know people talk about faint evap lines but they don't usually have colour to them and your line is pink

I phoned the doctors for the result of the blood test I had on friday, the lady said it showed early pregnancy, I asked her what the hcg level was and she said 10.6, now would I be correct in saying that this is the left over hormone from the (suspected) cp, it's far to low for me to actually be pregnant as I would of been 6 weeks by now, 4 weeks post ovulation.

I've asked if they'll do another blood test so we can see if hcg is decreasing but they're having to ask my doctor and can't ask him until tomorrow afternoon.

I was initially stunned into silence when she said I was pregnant and felt that slight surg of hope until a second later I thought it was probably left over hormone.

Lexi, I'm sorry they've left you in the lurch over this. I hope the Dr sees you asap & you get something positive from the repeat blood test. xx

Hello everyone!!! Here we go!!! I'm almost halfway through my 2ww! 4-5 dpo. Only symptom is cramping. I promised myself that I will NOT test until after af is late. Good Luck to you all!!

Just googled hcg levels, the range for 42 days is 11,230 - 25,640.

Clearly I should of done this before posting as I've answered my own query really, definatly the hormone decreasing.

How long does it take for hcg to leave body and return to zero? Does this mean we can't ttc yet? Will I not be ovulating?

lexi sorry to hear this, hopefully doc calls you back even for a chat. No idea about hcg levels my doc wouldn't run blood tests when i had my cp.

I'm 3dpo and time is going veeeeerrrrry slooooowllllly!!

lexi HCG of that level will return to 0 within a week so hopefully you will ovulate again soon. Sorry you're having a shit time, I guess it is good that the Dr tests confirmed that you did have a CP rather than leaving you to worry how you got a + and they couldn't explain it. Big hugs xxx

I am taking soy days 3-7 this cycle CD5 today to see if I can bring Ov forward a bit, we'll see

dexi i did soy on days 3-7 too am now on cd 13 and no signs of ov yet. Normally ov around cd 21 so got a bit to go yet, this seems to be longest month ever.

Think i'll play a game of i spy to pass the time...
