Oky technically not ttc until jan, but we've not been using condoms every time because if it happened earlier than Jan I wouldn't be a problem. Poas and got a bfn today...feel a bit disappointed was kinda hoping it would be a bfp.

In reality it take a perfectly healthy couple up to a year to conceive. Unfortunately we tend to get bombarded, rightly, with the safe sex message as teens/young adults so much that it makes us think we will instantly get pregnant as soon as we stop using protection.

Try to chill out a bit (meant in the least patronising way possible) and have lots and lots of sex. It will happen.

Thank you....we got pg first try with dc1 so I think that has given me unrealistic expectations for conceiving number 2.
