Still feeling sicky, got a headache, right sided gynae pain, generalised tummy ache and my cold (surely not related?!). My boobs don't seem as painful as they were, but they may have peaked earlier today when they got quite bad.

I've wanted a BFP every month, but want it more this month. Have to not let it ruin my honeymoon if it hasn't worked.

Aww nic i really hope you get your fairy tale wedding day bfp! (but if not, a honeymoon baby will be every bit as special and fairy tale like!)

Question girls - do you stop dtd after you've ovulated? It's cd21 and I haven't dtd since cd17...

winkle we keep dtd throughout, probably about 3 times a week apart from the supposedly fertile time when we try and do it more often.

kitten can you do stuff with DH or mates to make the time go quicker. I dread the 2ww every month. It's like the clocks take twice as long every min every sec.

Morning ladies...mind if I join you? TTC#2..for only 3 months. Took 3 months with DS so hoping it'll be the same again but not holding out much hope. Keep feeling like we never manage it at the 'right' times, plus cycles have been a bit longer than usual (I'm beginning to think its the multivits). Managed to dtd on Cd13, CD16 & CD20...cycle has been btwn 29 & 35 days recently. Need to fit it in a few more times before family come to stay next week!

Hey you could be my twin :) my cycles vary too but are generally around the 30 day mark... Makes testing hard cause you never know if you're late or not. Must say your name confused me... I thought why is a granny having a baby

red you're right about the 2ww dragging, my iphone app thingy counts down the days for me which I thought would be really helpful but actually I think it makes it even more torturous! (tortuous? tortureous? no idea)

winkle we tend to ease off after ov.....although tbh I'm completely guessing as to when ov is so we probably should up our game a bit. One of the bfp'ers on another thread just popped back to update us that she'd had her 12 week scan and was told that she's actually only 10+6....so she had ov'd 8 days later than she thought! Just goes to show really....

You are all so good with dtd. Even doing it post ov. I've only managed it twice this month but the timing was pretty good so I'm not too worried there.

Only 1 dpo myself and I will be not drinking in the 2ww to be extra careful. I normally don't worry about it but feel like I need to do something different this month.

Hi girls I feel like I've not been on for ages! I feel like I'm in limbo a bit just now. Dh has to go back to work for a week on friday and I'm due to ov around tuesday next week so unless he has superstrong swimmers I'm out for october.

And I had to go for my smear test earlier too ugh. The nurse asked about birth control so I told her we are ttc. She said 'oh and how is that going for you?' Erm well....I'm not pg so how do you think.

weechops - like you, feel like i haven't been here in ages (err...since sunday!)...withdrawal symptoms! Think i might be due a smear, can't remember if i got one done after DS was born in 2010 but think I'll leave looking into that just for now. already have dentist to go to next week, yuck!!

winkle - i guess because i can't use opks and my cycles do vary a bit from month to month we carry on dtd even after i'm fairly certain ov has been and gone because there's a small chance i might be wrong so might as well carry on! we started dtd last night which was only cd6 but keeping bases covered!!

whenshewasbasd - i'm drinking this Sat for a hen party (will be on cd11 so should be fine) but after that no more til i'm sure i'm def not pg. like u say, can't hurt to do something diff/extra this month.

Feeling pretty good at the min, prob all the diff multi vitamin supplements and superfoods i'm eating. AF gone. Shagging has commenced. If I could wean myself off coffee&chocolate i'd be top of the class i can't, though

CD 7 here I think?? Nothing to report. Other than off to hospital with DPs sperm sample on Friday. Its been such a nightmare getting it arranged, he's been busy at work, and its got to be 3 days since he last, ahem, let the little guys out to play!! So just hope we dont get arrested at the side of a busy road on the way to hospital, trying to get the sample. They dont tell you about THIS when TTC do they!!

Il of been TTc for 2 years next month, iv decided to start to look into fertility treatments ivf etc. Holy shit its expensive. We'r looking about 4 grand. If id been 3 years younger and donated my eggs I could of had it free at one of the hospitals. If your over 35 your eggs are fucked - is that the message they're giving out. Great!!

Ive probably had only about 20 proper periods my whole life. I should have gazillions of the little buggers.

Just wanted to pop in and say hello (was on the original bfp in 2012 thread... and the may, June, July ones...!)

All's well with me- 14 weeks pregnant and everything seems to be going ok this time, which is a relief. I'm well past the mc anniversary, so fx it'll be full steam ahead.

I LOVE the new positive thread title and have fx that it is the one where you ALL get pregnant.. Sounds like lots of new things are being tried... Soy, secret lube etc... Really really hope this is the month for you all,
