Hi girls sorry I've been a bit silent this week. Well dh work has informed him he isn't going back to a rig until the 19th. Great news for ttc as I should prob ov round the 17th, but shit news for the finances.

2 weeks with no money coming in and a couple of huge bills isn't fun. Usually I have enough in savings to cover us for at least a month, but I had been buying bits and bobs for Christmas and stupidly not putting the money back in gah! It should be ok though, just a bit tight.

Thanks for letting me get that rant out :) So I am back to using the opk as of today. I got a stack of IC ones to use up and will use the Clearblue digi ones nearer ov time to make sure I see a smiley :)

weechops I completely sympathise with money stress, last 4 or 5 months have been awful for us, just one unexpected expense after another, savings all gone, stress!! On top of ttc, def not easy. Hope the 2 weeks off rig work out for you guys tho

Cd9 for me, dtd on cd7, will dtd again tonight and so on... Drinking my grapefruit juice, taking agnus castus & pre natal vits and had friends round last night and only had about 2.5 glasses of wine, not bad going. Tho hav a wedding next week so sure I hav one heavyish day/night of drinking this cycle but i'm going to try to be fairly moderate(ish) and it'll be my only cheat day. Feels a bit daunting to be back at the start of the no drinking, healthy eating, shagathon...

lol tomorrow should be fine...they say 24-48hrs after smiley. You've covered the bases by doing it yesterday (some say better to dtd just before ov, some say after). Someone said (can't remember on which thread) to dtd every day after smiley for 4-6days too..think that was from a fertility expert or something?

Had 'the chat' with DH last night about drinking, SA, etc and managed to get him to see my viewpoint (very reluctantly) and we agreed he would cut back on the booze and have some tests.
Then did a test this morning (4 days before AF due)...
And there's defo a faint line. Don't even have to squint.
It's a super drug test. Does anyone know how reliable they are?
Plan to buy a few more superdrug tests today and try again in a few days but am QUITE EXCITED!
I had just about written this year off as a FTC failure, but this is definitely a glimmer of hope.

Ooh yikes that's exactly what happened to me on Friday with a superdrug test! Did another one of those yesterday & got a darker line in test window..maybe try again tomorrow morning...but whispering a v tentative congrats x

No news with me, cd11 of second proper cycle post mc way back on 1st aug. Dtd cd 7 and 9 so far, will dtd again tonight and eod for next fortnight....19 days til poas...

I think I have finally lost all hope of conceiving. I just feel negative now that its probably not happened again this month. I feel this way because I have had just 1 day of fertile CM and now dry as a desert around OV time. What chance have I got of getting a bfp at this rate! arghhh!
