Yay winkle, winkling is the way to success!!

stickybeans - annoying not to be able to poas but you're just right, no af is best sign of all.

Cd30 here which I had designated as poas day, because I should be around 12 dpo and I got a good clear bfp at 12 dpo last time. Unfortunately bfn again :( :( no sign of af being imminent but now im just going to take sticky's approach. My longest cycle of this year - excluding wtf post-mc cycle - was 34 days. So I guess I wait 5 days and then if AF hasnt shown it will def be late and i'll poas again. But I think its much more likely that af will just arrive. Wish it would hurry up so I can just start a new cycle....

winkle2 · 01/11/2012 09:24

Good luck sticky :)

Hope that bfn turns into a BFP littlemiss

Thanks everyone and good luck to you all. I'm giving up for a while, it's definitely beaten me Sad

Kittenkatzen · 01/11/2012 14:25

:( sunshine hope a lovely restful break recharges you and we see you back here soon. Thanks for you

redstrawberry · 01/11/2012 14:28

oh sunshine I am so terribly sorry she arrived :( Gutted.
Its worse when you are least expecting her to show up. Hope you are okay x

weechops - can he take some holidays near your fertile period? my DH travels away a lot and last month, he actually took two days leave so we could meet OV. didn't work though :-\

littlemiss sorry about the bfns... it seems its been a shitty month.

Infact I want to write this shitty year off my life. I have never felt so punished, sad, miserable, depressed, happy, low, upset and moody in my whole life. So this year has not been a good one for me.

I haven't checked my app or OV dates. In a weird oblivion.

winkle2 · 01/11/2012 14:31

You'll probably come back pregnant, Sunshine :)

Just joining - me and DP have been trying for 5 cycles now. Know it's not very long but I was very laid back about it for the first 3 months, now I'm really getting broody and stressed about it. I felt 100% certain this month was going to be BFP time and AF should have arrived 2 days ago so I tested this morning, and just now again to make sure, and got BFN both times Sad. Feeling very broody and upset now.

winkle2 · 01/11/2012 16:42

Welcome alwaysawake. It's crap when it's taking longer than expected, isnt it? We will all get there one day.

OP posts:
alwaysawake · 01/11/2012 16:52

Thanks winkle, am sure we will Smile - never liked AF at the best of times but now waiting for it just so we can get to the next cycle and try again is stressful.

weechops · 01/11/2012 17:26

Alwaysawake I'm in practically the same position as you. Cd31, no af, and bfn 2 days after she was due. Just want to get this cycle over and done with onto cycle 6. Fingers crossed 6 is a lucky number :)

stickybeans · 02/11/2012 05:55

Goodmorning everyone!! I'm getting my hopes up a little, af was a no-show yesterday! No signs that I'll be getting a visit anytime soon. Going to pick up a cb digi on my way home from work. Keep your fingers crossed....will update soon!!! Good Luck to you all & Baby Dust!!!

winkle2 · 02/11/2012 08:53

Fingers crossed here for you!

I'm on cd15. Didn't manage to dtd last night as I was so tired! Will go for it today, tomorrow and Sunday!

Fx sticky!!

red - I know, this year has been a crappy write off!!! Got pg, 6 weeks of awful hyperemesis, mmc, had to have erpc done, stressful house move and loads of money worries. Heres to 2013!

Think af is def en route for me, no cramps but had a bit of spotting this morning. I didnt ever 'feel' pg this month and I had 2 bfns this week so im prepared for the witch's arrival but still feeling pretty down about it :( only plus is today wd hav been cd31 so if this is the start of af then my cycle was 30 days which is an improvement on 33 days. Dtd on cds 13, 15 and 16 tho so should hav caught ov but nevermind, this obv wasnt our month. Pass me the wine gin and chocolate please!!

Kittenkatzen · 02/11/2012 09:43

sorry she got you :( but a little yay for the shortened cycle - every cloud and all that!

FX for you sticky

Happy Friday everyone :)

winkle2 · 02/11/2012 10:03

Argh sorry she got you littlemiss. That's good that your cycle seems to be shortening though.

I'm on CD15 but not had a peak yet. Hoping it will be tomorrow.

Thing is, this morning when I weed on the stick to go into the monitor, I didn't wee enough I think! That's cause I had gone for a wee an hour earlier - should have used that wee but couldnt be bothered to faff around at 6am, wanted to get back into bed asap!

Must be more bothered tomorrow!

Have DTD Cd's 9, 10, 12 and 13 so far. Will DTD tonight, tomorrow and Sunday making it 15, 16 and 17 too. Last month the monitor peaked at CD16.

Thanks kitten!!

V good going winkle Grin

Yep, im all about silver linings! Me and DH have been renting out our old house (which is lovely but old, tiny and near centre of town) because it's a v bad time to sell but it's not really a great house for a toddler and, hopefully, by next year another baby. But the cost of running two houses, even with tenants in, with rent, mortgage, landlord insurance, rates, running/maintenance costs, along with bills, running two cars, childcare etc is literally crippling us. We had a talk this week and we've decided that we're going to just have to sell the first house, even though we'll probably lose £15-£20k. It's a grim prospect but it's so much better than the huge financial stress every month and the fact that it might take years to go back up in value and any month something can potentially go wrong with it which takes up our time and has completely eaten up our meagre savings. So we're seeing the estate agent today and the tenants tomorrow - I'd love to have it shifted by the spring so hopefully WHEN I AM PG AGAIN it will be one less thing to worry about and the much lower repayments will mean i can take a longer time off on maternity leave etc. Really hope this decision will mean less stress, tho of course we're not looking forward to losing so much money, but looking forward to hopefully being able to sleep at night without wondering how we're going to make it through the month with money for nappies for DS etc. So with shorter cycle and now, hopefully, less stress = better chance of getting pg for me. And I found out I was pg with DS in Dec 2009 so hopefully the xmas magic will work again!!

stickybeans · 02/11/2012 13:34

Ok I'm confused.....cb digi says "not pregnant" but where is the stupid witch? I'm already 1 day late-I'm never late! I think I'm gonna get a FRER and see if theres at least a faint line or something.
To Be Continued..................

winkle2 · 02/11/2012 13:45

How long have you been trying this time littlemiss? Bummer on losing money on the house but less stress has def got to be worth it.

sticky ? get a FRER they are much better than the CB digis and keep us posted!

OP posts:
alwaysawake · 02/11/2012 15:22

Another overdue AF here that's usually on time - am sometimes a couple of days out at most but this is dragging on, are they all conspiring? POAS this morning yet again just in case but no luck.

weechops · 02/11/2012 20:00

So that's 3 of us with AWOL af! What is she playing at humph. Evil witch playing mind games. < wanders off to make hot chocolate.......>

Kittenkatzen · 02/11/2012 21:13

As you were Grin

winkle2 · 03/11/2012 13:37

Got a feeling I'm going to have a funny cycle this month! Cd16 and still no peak.

OP posts:
winkle2 · 03/11/2012 13:38

People with missing AWOL - any news?

OP posts:
alwaysawake · 03/11/2012 13:40

Still nothing here, starting to get very peed off, don't know whether to start dtd in earnest soon if she doesn't show or whether it's going to be a weird cycle.

weechops · 03/11/2012 14:04

cd33 and still nothing. I was wondering whether to start using the opk's again before (if) I get af incase she isn't coming at all (not for bfp reasons)

I had a look on google to see if I could shed some light and apparantly if you don't ovulate in a cycle, then you will still get a period but your cycle length may be messed up because of it. (obviously with more technical terms :) )

So I'm thinking - I didn't get a smiley on opk so maybe my first theory was right afterall and I didn't ov, and now my uterus is taking longer to realise and af will show up eventually?

My plan of action is to see if she comes by Monday, if not I have a stack of IC opks and I will just start using them then and see what happens.
