New thread! Come on girls, lets all get pregnant!!

Hi again! Congrats to the new Mrs!!!!!! Winkle - sounds really, REALLY promising!!! I thought vivid dreams were a sympton and surely it was vivid if you can remember the saucy bits?!

I am still none the wiser... I had dismissed it as BFN... as didn't FEEL preg... BUT have now had THREE 'barely there' line debacles. I am also now 3 days late...

So I have now started to let myself feel a little bit excited, but I'm really wary that I could be dissapointed, I'm not sure if it's just because I'm so desperate for it that I have started to notice things? I'm sure we've all been there, reading up on early preganancy signs and thinking 'oooh that's me', only to come on bang on time...

I think I will test again in a few days and see if I can turn my big fat maybe might be could be is it might be positive into a BFP!!!!!!!!

We have been dtd every other day for what's seems like a long time as I was supposed to OV last week but still no shift in bbt. Had a positive opk on friday although bbt is swaying lower. Not sure whether I have OVed or not.

Kind of not bothered because I don't want to know how many dpo I am or I will start obsessing again. I have done well this month not thinking about it much. Just another two weeks to go before AF due.

Fairy - how many DPO are you? Might be too early if you're getting faint lines?

Boobs don't feel sore anymore so feel like I'm out this month :(

Had a good chat with a friend the other day. She had 2 miscarriages and then didn't get pregnant for a year after that so she understands how I'm feeling. She's really helped me to relax about the whole thing (after my meltdown last week ) so I feel ok and I'm not gonna let this get me down again.

How long we're you trying and is this your first? What worked this month do you think?

We've been trying for about 6 months.
I'm not sure what worked tbh - previously I've been really stressed about it, calculating the right day etc. When it was taking longer than we thought, I decided to just pretend we weren't trying.

No special anything to be honest, just been a bit more relaxed about it to be honest.

This is my first pregnancy yep...

I know this is going to sound crazy but you don't think the faint lines mean I'm going to have a mc do you? I have been feeling really rough the last week or so with flu, it's making me a bit paranoid??

I'm SURE this month will be lucky for you - my friend was trying for two years and she has just given birth to a healthy baby boy.

I don't think the faint lines mean anything more than maybe the type of test you were using... Were they a cheap brand?

Don't discount a BFP yet winkle sore boobs didn't happen to me until 6weeks (when preg with dd).

Bastarding AF turned up this morning - another short cycle, only 24 days this time have just ordered some opks from amazon, feel like I need to start taking a bit more notice of whats happening rather than just hoping for the best as we have been doing.

Sorry kitten that is a short cycle. How many dpo do you think you were when af turned up?

Thanks girls it's more frustrating than anything. I haven't been tracking ov at all so going by my iPhone app only AF came at 10dpo, and for the second month in a row too . Have done a little bit of googling research this morning and apparently short cycles aren't a problem as long as your lp is long enough (over 12 days seems to be the consensus). So I'll give the opk's a go for a month or two - hopefully I'm just ov'ing super early for some reason.

No news with me really on the ttc front. IM hoping the agnus castus will help regulate my cycle a bit this month since its been really effective when.i've taken.it in the past and since mmc a couple of months my cycle has been crazy even.if it does regulate things a bit tho i'd say cycle will still be on the long side and ov is still likely a week away but nonetheless the epic 10 day shagathon commences tonight. Wish me luck!!

Well I had my consultants app. Didn't see the consultant but his junior doc. He didn't seem to know half as much about ttc as you ladies .

He has booked me in for more tests and signed me up to a trial to see whether giving progesterone helps reduce mc. I said I would do it but I was and still am really unsure.

What does the trial involve? Dont do anything you're unsure about x
