So where the frig is my period?

Am usually 28 days, very regular. 3 days late, af is imminent I am sure, have sore tummy spotting which I usually get. But no af. Just poas , bfn even though we supposed to have managed the right time this month. is there a reason for the spotting before hand? It never happened before dd. Is it just my age ? Am getting a bit fed up with it all - seems to drag on for ages!

Well it isn't over til AF arrives.

I was late with both pregnancies, tested negative until a week later.

I can feel its coming, just want it to get on with it! Test was definitely negative, nothing there at all and don't feel pg either. Think I may have to accept its not meant for me this time ..

Hi there girlies! I am 4 days late now. Tested -ve this morning. IF I am pregnant- and (fingers crossed) just test +ve a bit later- is there a lower chance of successful pregnancy, or not at all? Just bben googling...and most ladies who get a bfp later tend to miscarry. As I've already had a mc (18 months ago), I'm understandably quite worried. No dc yet. Please send positive vibes my way- need all the help I can get! X

I have been trying to stay away from this board but this is winding me up as well today and I found you guys are in similar predicaments...
Should be on my period, have felt like I had PMT end of last week, even had a bit of spotting on Thursday, keep feeling like I've just leaked over my knickers but there's nothing there when I nip to the loo, getting that wierd period tummy feeling. So can it bloody well get on with it...
Any tips on how to bring on a period that quite clearly is coming?

I need to stay away from this board to! Should be on today but messed up my pill this month. I'm sure it's not happened because it's in my head, will be irrationally disappointed when I do am secretly hoping I am even though it would be a challenge.

Going to wait till tomorrow to get a test, don't want to waste my money if I come on later.

I've been pregnent 3 times wishing and I got positive result the day I was due on and no miscarriages. They were very very feint lines and one was a 2 yr out of date test. I think it different for everybody and how there body is. Hope you get the result you want, lots of positive vibes for you!

I am 2 days late now... Starting to get a bit grumpy - want period now as going on holiday on Friday and would like the worst of it out of the way by then...

Period is still not here... laughing and chatting with DP last night and we agreed that we would start to think about testing if it still hasn't arrived by next Monday...
In the meantime my mind is in overdrive - varying between wanting this period to bloody well get on with it (have a long drive and ferry journey on Friday and so don't want it to be at its worst then) and feeling like maybe just maybe its happened this month...

Well my test was right - af turned up so not pg. think I now have to be realistic and accept that its not likely to happen. Times running out and despite doing it at supposedly the right time nothing is happening. We were leaving it to fate, but I think I will always feel sad that there will be no more children. Ds really wants a new baby too!

sounds like you're on a long journey of trying to get pregnant...
are you sure that if you are feeling so sad that you don't want to pursue options and talk to your gp (without knowing you're personal circumstances as maybe you have already been doing this?)

well i am not sure how long it will be. age is definitely against me and we were quite undecided about another baby and so wanted to leave it to fate - like if its meant to be it will happen sort of thing? but its not. i know that i am lucky to have 2 DCs and so wouldnt pursue anything with the GP. maybe i shouldn't push my luck .

so has anyone tested yet?!

I guess you can just keep leaving it to nature - but I can understand how hard it is to not think about it.
We are supposed to be 'enjoying' TTC and just 'relaxing' about the whole thing but its near impossible when I'm feeling so broody!

Bought my first ever pregnancy test yesterday - going to use it on Monday (or maybe Sunday!!)

I am 3 days late. Never late. Have done 2 tests and both negative. constantly need the loo, itchy nipples, feeling sick in the morning, tired, lower back pain, fluttery tummy. Waiting sucks !

Have seen posts on this site - some end up getting their period late and some end up finding out they are pregnant but had probably had lower levels of the HCG hormone- just no way of knowing until you get the period or the positive test.

Either way I wish these manufacturers didn't claim 99% accuracy from the day of the missed period - it clearly doesn't always work out that way....

I'm not sure how long I can wait until I get a blood test done - probably if have nothing still by next week I will go . ... really want it to be positive.
