Cerazette horror stories :/

Hi all.
My husband and I have decided to try for squishy number three, BUT, after reading horror stories about not conceiving after cerazette I'm a bit worried, was on it for 2 months but stopped due to constant bleeding and massive weight gain about 6 weeks ago, then sort of had a normal bleed (carried on from constant but diff colour etc, won't divulge too much! Lol) at about normal period time. We have decided that with regards to timings, now is best to try and I was wondering if anyone had any positive experiences?

I've conceived twice after Cerazette, the first time I got pregnant 6 weeks after I stopped taking it, the second time I got pregnant within 12 weeks of stopping it. The depo is another kettle of fish, gave ourselves a 6 month window after stopping that and no joy so am back on Cerazeete again.

I havent heard of problems after cerazette but do know that the depo injection can cause quite a big delay in the return of fertility (up to a year or sometimes longer)

I took cerazette and we took a long time to conceive but investigations showed it was male factor. If you were only taking it for a couple of months I really woudn't think it'll make a massive impact.

Do a lot of people put on a considerable amount of weight when on Cerazette?

My sister was on Cerazette and conceived really quickly, try not to panic Angie :)

no I didnt put on weight with cerazette but I did with the depo injection (loads of weight and constant bleeding with depo)

I gained weight on microgynon but didn't gain on cerazette.

I was pregnant the first cycle after stopping cerazette with ds.

Thanks ladies. Just a bit paranoid I think! Especially seeing as this is the first planned pregnancy haha! My boy was a mycrogynon baby and my girl was a broken condom haha. So I'm hoping that I'm just incredibly fertile and that it won't take long!

Hi ladies, I read a load off horrible things about cerazette and they really worried me am also 37 so expectations weren't exactly high when I came off in mid August! Anyway got bfp on Tuesday evening didn't even af so please don't worry Angie

That's fantastic news congratulations! :)

I stopped taking cerazette because it was giving me near constant periods and I didn't want a period on my wedding day. Stopped taking it maybe a week before wedding day, had normal period on my wedding day anyway (typical) and got pregnant 7 days later.

I hadn't heard any bad stories, hope our personal experiences stop you worrying.
