What ARE these pains?

I keep getting the most terrible pains that the only way to describe them is a long, sharp, hot needle is stuck in to my womb. When the pain goes, and I stop wincing, it almost tickles for a while. Period due Wednesday, and I could be pg. I am sure I have not this type of thing before. Anyone get this as part of their monthly period pains? It keeps catching me out. Bit concerned.

think you should maybe get it checked out

I have heard of women claiming to feel implantation pains, (when pg) but I'm not sure these have been proven to be factual!!

I would get it checked as Twig said, it's not over-reacting, honestly, they'll be glad you went!
