Positive opk cd27 ???

So I finally got a (very strong) opk test today, which is cd27! Was expecting period on Friday, have had usual pmt, bloat etc. am definetly not pregnant.

Has anyone else ov'd this late? Does late ov cause problems? Or could it even be a second ov this month? And I presume period won't arrive on fri, more like next week?

same sort of thing happened to me 6 years ago.

opk detects hormonal changes - like when you are ovulating. AND it can be react positively to pregnancy hormones: dd was 6 in July!!

try a pregnancy test?

am so sorry - your post says you are definitely not pregnant. Don't know then.

if your cycles are alwyas very regular then this is strange. My periods went awol when I had thyroid issues. I would wait and see - just keep on keeping track and if you're still worried in a couple of months then go and see gp.

Thanks for reply hatsy - I think it could be a wierd month. I've got no cramping or anything, had that at the usual ov time. I read that opks can be positive when you're about to get your period so maybe it's that? It's a very wierd science all this! :)
