Pink Evap lines?

Sorry long post.

Ok so we have been trying for DC3 for a few months and I realised yesterday that I couldn't remember which week my last period happened - I am either due around now or it will be next week and I have also been really tired, emotional and my breasts feel gigantic.

I went and got a cheap pregnancy test from the chemist and did it mid afternoon. After a couple of minutes there was nothing so I went down stairs to take my mind off it and thought I would check back before the 15 minute time limit was up. By the time I went upstairs again it was about 25 minutes after taking the test - so 10 minutes over the time limit and there were 2 very, very strong pink lines. I can't be sure if they appeared in the time limit when I was out of the room or I might just have an evap line but everything I have read seems to indicate that evap lines are very faint, nothing like the strong line I got first.

As it was out with the recommended time limit I went to get another test which was invalid, not even a control line. So this morning I tried a clear blue electronic test and it was negative.

I suppose that means that I am definitely not pregnant but I don't know.

Does anyone have any experience of this?

The digital tests aren't very sensitive, the cheap ones are ironically! Difficult to say but you can't rely on the cheap result when it's past the time window. In my experience evap bastard! lines are greyish. I would get another sensitive test and retest. I did a couple of cheap ones which were 'is there/isn't there a line?' and when I did a first response early response the line came up immediately really clear. I didn't test with a clearblue til 2 days after my period was due because I didn't think it would say 'pregnant'! I would definitely say retest in your position. I hope it's a BFP!
