Irregular cycles after MMC

After my MMC in April, my cycles have been late..varying 1-6 days. I have resound myself that this could just be while my body is settling. We are TTC and I need to stay as relaxed, 'if it happens, it happens' about it because each month I get my hopes up. :(
So now my cyrus are irregular I am using apps on my phone which show OV days on a 29 day cycle (my previous cycle), 32 day & 34 day (current longest).
Is it best to DTD a day or so before OV?
As I have 3 'OV' days I am hoping we can DTD regularly enough.
So far...only managed DTD Saturday..OV is predicted tomorrow & for the first time in months I have OV symptoms.
I don't want to get too obsessed & start using OV sticks just yet :/

Hi Wifey

I had a MMC at Christmas and have also had irreg cycles since. Used to be 25 days spot on, now been up to 32. I've had some bloods done and my progesterone levels are low- meaning I may not be ovulating.

I obviously don't want to worry you as could be totally different but it may be worth asking for blood tests to reassure yourself?

I wish I'd done it sooner as I'm now facing a wait to see a gynae & could have got the ball rolling much sooner..

Good luck!
Xx

MildredH...so sorry for your loss Sad
Thank you for the advice...I will book in some bloods and see what's going on. Can they give progesterone via tablets/injections?

I had progesterone as tablets- it was northisterone, the same thing used to delay your periods etc..

I really hope your fine. I just think its worth checking these things nice and early ( and I'm very impatient!!)

Good luck!

I have had norethisterone before..I suffered with dysfunctional uterine bleeding after my DS was born for 11 month Sad
Thank you for the info.
I have a routine blood test for iron in a week or so..so I will ask them to check for me.
