Hiya last week we decided to do the sperm test tomorrow morning (need to get it to hospital within an hour after its 'deposited'), unfortunately somebody has drunk beer whilst watching England :( and completely forgot. We have done the no sex part, there is no mention of avoiding alcohol but I doubt it will do any good. This will be our first test so want it as accurate as possible.

It's not the end of the world to reschedule, the sooner the better in my eyes. What do you reckon?

Looking online, it seems everywhere recommends avoiding alcohol for a few days before test.

I think I'd reschedule. You don't want incorrect results - I'd wait it out and make sure they are accurate.

At least England aren't losing anymore!

I thought as much, the hospital info should really specify. I agree with you it's probably not worth the worry if the results look dodgy :(

The clinic said to my husband a few beers recently shouldn't affect the result cause it takes 3 months for sperm to be produced.
