Hello everybody

I am ttc child number 2 but as dd was an accident I don't know much about it. Is it ok to ask some basic questions? I have been reading the boards and am a bit confused.

Firstly, what does AF mean?

Secondly, I stopped taking Cerazette 4 months ago and my periods have not returned to normal but are all over the place. We are 'trying' in that we are having sex without contraception but in no more structured way than that. 4 months on though, I am starting to panic as I am 37.

I have started using clearblue ovulation sticks but as I had no period I just picked a day and started but I have been using them for 4 weeks with no smiley face.

should I just not bother and wait for a period or should I see a doctor after 4 months?

AF: Aunt Flo - your period

Yes, if you are not having periods, do see your GP.

Up to 6 months of mental/absent periods post pill can be normal. Not harm in seeing your GP though, as you're over 35 they should consider tests after 6months if you want.
