conceiving after vasectomy reversal

Hello, has anyone out there conceived after a vasectomy reversal? I am 42 and have four children with my husband. We'd love another and he had a reversal just before christmas. I know i am the the very end of the line fertility wise and wonder if I should just give up now rather than hope each month.

I'm the same age as you but haven't had any previous children. My DH had a reversal last June and we are on our 6th cycle of really serious TTC. I'm using the CBFM and have also had blood tests to confirm ovalution and DH has had a positive sperm sample. We're trying not to think about it all too much!

It's so the waiting each month that is so stressful isn't it? I wish you all the luck in the world - it sounds as though you could have a positive outcome based on your tests and samples.
