DD is 11 months. Really want another baby but it will be a real struggle financially if we have to have two at nursery at once so I should really hold off for another 9 months........on the other hand we've always wanted three and if we're too sensible I'll be pushing 40 by the time we're done which is not ideal either (apologies 40 yr olds!). WWYD?

It's your decision OP but I would not be having a child I couldn't afford. I think it's more important to be pragmatic on this one.

Hmmm I'm the opposite, we started trying straight away after dd as we knew it could take a while, I'm early 30s and although I fell pregnant as soon as I could with bf ( dd 9 months)i had a mc, now she is 12 months and I'm still not there, I think you tend to spend to your means and unless your trying to save for something you don't anyway so unless your waiting fur dc to go to school another 4 yrs, will anything change financially otherwise? Atleast if your off with both you save on child care then? That's just me though, ultimately it is what you and dh decide is right for you but if you want 3 you have to bear time constrains in mind

I'm a stress head but I guess I think if these people can manage with 4 who have never worked a day in their lives I'm sure we'll get by, it's just getting used to not wasting as much as I do now Smile
