SecretSparkle · 10/10/2012 14:27

NoMaybeAboutIt · 10/10/2012 16:36

Oh Geek lovely, did I say you were moping? I'm so sorry if I did Blush

Am I the only original brooker here? I think we need some new blood.

Am making lasagne to forget about Twunt boss rearing his ugly head and to pretend that UCH haven't lost our ultrasound referral.

Shrieklette · 10/10/2012 16:58

Sorry maybe I've just scanned back and it was keep!!! Blush Deffo baby brain, I am being drawn to testing for a reason I tell you!

Solars · 10/10/2012 20:21

Hi a quick update from me, 3 eggs collected so very happy. There was a bit of an issue with DH's sperm, his sample was good but when they spun the little buggers a few didn't survive so they then suggested icsi, so hopefully all should still be ok, lots of brooking for fertilisation now, eek! I will get a call tomorrow to see how all is going! Hopefully you all are well, will catch up with all your news tomorrow xx

Shrieklette · 10/10/2012 20:52

solars yay!!! I'm sorry MrSolars ended up with dizzy swimmers after the spin, but ICSI is great says she on the icsi fast track and your BFP is all but guaranteed Grin Grin Grin Brooking like mad for three nicely fertilised embryos by this time tomorrow. Do you know what stage they are going to progress to before putting them back yet, or is that a wait and see thing?

SweetieDoesIt · 10/10/2012 21:01

Woo hoo Solars great news on the collection of the 3 golden eggs over and done with. GrinGrinGrin Brooking those golden eggs fertilise overnight and do everything they need to do. Look after yourself, I found the waiting for the phone calls the hardest bit. {{{hugs}}}

PrincessPumpkinshoutsBOO · 10/10/2012 21:50
Biscuitsandtea · 10/10/2012 21:54

Whoop whoop Solars - great stuff.

Brooking for everything to carry on going well xx

ScarlettInSpace · 10/10/2012 22:48

Now this looks more like the brooking thread I joined a year ago [screams silently - a bloody year? This pregnancy is the longest in history. Maybe I'm really an elephant Shock ]

Sorry no name check had a loooooooong day, brooking for solars little eggs/embies!

AFM i am 10dpo today Well Done shriek and I selflessly POAS for you all this morning, unfortunately it was one of those pesky disagreeable peesticks Hmm. I have decided this is a good thing as I can now get ratted with my sister next weekend yay!

And next cycle I should will be egg popping from the correct side which is also a good thing.

But who knows, there are still a few days left for me to find the agreeable peestick that I know is out there somewhere Grin

Much love brookers, tomorrow is Thursday which is the day before Friday yay!

NoMaybeAboutIt · 10/10/2012 23:26

Solars that's amazing news, so pleased for you. Don't worry about the ICSI, will give them an even better chance to break into that egg and fertilise it up.

Scarlett, if you're having an elephant, I'm having a dinosaur . Keeping my fingers crossed for an agreeable piss stick.

keepitgoing · 11/10/2012 03:28

solars great stuff on the three eggs. Well done you!! Not to worry, ICSI will mean that you've got a great chance for fertilisation. It's interesting that they didn't like being spun; maybe they are delicate little spermies, who like to be directed to an egg rather than make their own way. Come on eggies and spermies - get it ON!!

maybe UCH lost your referral? God, it makes me so mad!!

scarlett did you not know 10dpo is too soon?? Alternatively, I hear it's possible that if you are too far along in your pregnancy (ie even further than smegs was Wink) that pee sticks don't turn positive anymore. In which case, it's quite likely that you we all in fact in our third trimester, and going to pop one out any minute. Grin

I could murder a lasagne.

BeedleTheBard · 11/10/2012 05:21

Joins keep with the fetilisation dance whilst the other brookers sleep

solars well done for producing 3 golden eggs, I'm brooking like mad that you get good news when they ring today

scarlett I was quite sure I was actually pregnant with absolutely no signs or symptoms, then I had a scan last month that showed an empty womb, and proved that all the previous pee-sticks hadn't been lying! But now I've been spring cleaned inside that BFP will be mine :o

keepitgoing · 11/10/2012 05:38

yes, i daydreamed that in the waiting room before my ultrasound too beedle. But that was almost three months ago, so who knows!!!

SecretSparkle · 11/10/2012 07:18

solars fabulously great news!!! Coommmmeee oooooonnn emmbies fertilise yourself!!

I do a HPT after every AF because even after all that I still can't convince myself I'm not diffed!

keepitgoing · 11/10/2012 07:42

sparks - been there. Grin It just shows what true brookers we are. And smegs only fuelled that fire. I wonder how my baby is not giving me a bump. Must be an optical illusion caused by living in the tropics where light bends differently... Hmm

SecretSparkle · 11/10/2012 09:22

ah the signs of being a true brooker:

  1. POAS at all opportunities even during 'that' time of the month
  2. Acknowledging that ALL hpts and faulty unless its positive
  3. Being able to 'perform' while knowing that atleast 10 other people know what your up to
  4. No longer blushing when someone talking about CM or any other bodily fluid!!
  5. Being confident in the knowledge that if you have a down day, every single other brooker will help pull you out of it
  6. Seeing that another brooker is struggling and knowing that whatever you've got going on in your own life you absolutely 100% have to support her.

Any other signs of being a brooker?

oh and Keep there used to be a programme on, called Eureka I think, which was about a town where all weird sciency stuff happened and they lived in houses that could talk (electronically). Anyways. I saw this episode where this woman was trying to hide the fact she was pregnant and had this amazing tshirt that basically made her bump invisible.... Im betting you take your invisibility tshirt off and you'll find a bump, silly you for leaving it on really!!!

SecretSparkle · 11/10/2012 09:24

Beedle I was like that when I went for my scan. Even when she was doing the actual scan I sat there thinking "tell me Im pregnant" like it had become a mantra to myself!!! When we came out after she'd told me there were some cysts mrsparks said "well that was the best we could have hoped for" Hmmm no the best we could have hoped for would've been pregnancy!!!

keepitgoing · 11/10/2012 09:33

aww sparks, what a list.

When are we expecting the phone call from the clinic, solars? 'we', i mean 'you', clearly. but we need to know asap too Smile

COME ON EMBYS.
COME ON SCARLETT SPARKS GEEK tripe whammy part 2.
COME ON EARLY OV for me.
COME ON MAYBE'S Ultrasound appointment.
COME ON errrr..........

keepitgoing · 11/10/2012 09:35

sparks have you got clomid now? what's your plan?

NoMaybeAboutIt · 11/10/2012 09:35

Sparks I'm loving this list.

  1. Having a comprehensive understanding of acronyms such as PIACC, PIAR, JIAJ.

I remember Eureka

Keep there's plenty of lasagne left. I made a 'healthy' one and used leek sheets instead of pasta and a light creme fraiche instead of a white sauce. It was nowhere near as yum as pried lasagne, but definitely lighter. Yes, they have lost our scan referral. It's so frustrating. If it wasn't for us chasing it up every day, we would never get anywhere!

Beedle you are so getting that BFP

Hope you're getting a good phone call any minute now Solars
