Keep no clomid yet, I've been referred to the fertility clinic (apparently GPs arent allowed to prescribe clomid) so we'll see what they say on 30th October. I've 100% decided that good things are about to happen and 2013 is going to be a truly amazing year for ALL brookers, even the lurking ones that arent exactly trying anymore!!! Completely full of over the top positive energy!!

You know your a brooker when:

  1. You POAS at all opportunities even during 'that' time of the month
  2. You acknowledge that ALL hpts are faulty unless its positive
  3. You are able to 'perform' while knowing that atleast 10 other people know what your up to
  4. You no longer blushing when someone talking about CM or any other bodily fluid!!
  5. you are confident in the knowledge that if you have a down day, every single other brooker will help pull you out of it
  6. you see that another brooker is struggling and knowing that whatever you've got going on in your own life you absolutely 100% have to support her.
  7. You have a comprehensive understanding of acronyms such as PIACC, PIAR, JIAJ
SecretSparkle · 11/10/2012 09:50

actually wetting myself

PrincessPumpkinshoutsBOO · 11/10/2012 09:53

May I add one? A brooker knows that symptoms = diffed, no symptoms = diffed, random symptoms = diffed and completely unrelated, unusual and ridiculous imaginary symptoms = diffed!

solar brooking your phone call comes soon and confirms what we already know:)

This is brilliant brookers. Can we turn this into a quiz for potential brookers? Bit like the BESH questionnaire?

I have just had the call from the clinic, we have one fertilised embryo!! Unfortunately one died and the the other one is being lazy, no signs of fertilisation yet but they are keeping an eye on it to see if that changes over the course of the day and will let me know tomorrow how its coming along!! I have been booked in for transfer tomorrow at 12.30pm, eek!

solars thats brilliant, shall join in the emby dance but watch out for flyibng limbs brookers i have no co-ordination

SweetieDoesIt · 11/10/2012 12:18

Solars excellent news on the embie front, brooking that the other lazy one catches up. How you feeling today? Still groggy or back to fighting fitness? Has DH let you in the kitchen yet??

Sparks loving the brooking rules and guidelines to keep is all in check, very good to have a reminder of who we are and what we want Wink

Scarlett I don't think you should delay in making your appointment, I can positively feel the duffed vibes from here

Nothing much to report here, not even sure where I am in my cycle. If I were to guess I would say about 5dpo but wouldn't bet my house on it WinkWink nothing else to report

Shrieklette · 11/10/2012 13:23

sparks fab list! I've been in stitches here!! One more to add: you know you're a brooker when your cycle attempts are in double (or even triple) figures, but you still get excited at the mere thought of POAS because this one is the one Grin

maybe rotten UCH - how on earth have they managed to lose your referral?? Give em hell my dear.

solars fab fab fab news! Good luck for tomorrow!

9DPO here and I'm most disappointed. I used my first test from a brand new batch of ICs and they are just as faulty as the last batch. I really must complain to my supplier. Still, I have now got my obligatory BFN out of the way, so the next one is guaranteed to be a BFP Grin

Symptoms so far: norks have stopped hurting - they never stop before AF arrives; quite bad cramps - it's a bit early for me, I normally get them from the day before AF is due; temp has gone up rather than down (but I did have a bottle of wine last night so that may have possibly contributed); my biggest skin breakout since high school - I really should wear a paper bag over my head before being allowed out in public at the moment; nausea and heartburn (again to the untrained eye this may appear to be wine-related, but obvs as brookers we know otherwise!!)

Going out for a meal tonight, so will try not to drink too much booze given my condition, but obvs am now eating for two so am allowed 2 puddings Grin

Solars · 11/10/2012 13:31

Giggles a little at Face dancing

Scarlett I can feel the diffness vibes too!

I'm doing ok Sweetie don't feel groggy at all now and gearing myself up for the next step! I felt quite emotional after the clinic called though and sorry tmi but have had a bit of blood on wiping a couple of times this morning. They said this may happen but I feel quite worried that AF may be starting. I'll have to see how that goes, they did say to call them if it does become like AF. Oh god I didn't prepare myself for this :(

Solars · 11/10/2012 13:34

X-post Shriek you sound diffed to me!

Biscuitsandtea · 11/10/2012 13:48
SecretSparkle · 11/10/2012 14:17

Awww thank you Biscuits, Sparkes & Shriek that means a lot, gosh i feel so scared it's all falling apart getting this far. Shriek they did say that there could be bleeding from the egg collection but every time i've wiped there's been some blood and had one wipe with clots like af which has worried me no end. So far it's only on wiping! Then i googled, stupid me and saw cases of af arriving after egg collection. I've taken the progesterone pessaries as advised this morning, just hope it does it magic and holds everything in place! You're right Sparkes in brooking we must trust, i love that.

Sorry for quick post but am at work on phone

Solars try not to worry, very difficult I know. Seriously ring the clinic if needed that is what they are there for. But to try reassure you, this is waaayyyyy TMI but hey ho, I had more fallout post egg collection than I thought possible. It ranged from blood to like pinky EWCM but on the whole was pretty gross. I had also been using the progesterone pessaries & anti bacterial cream both up the front shoot. Sorry not sure how else to describe it BlushBlushBlushBlush In my mind I just thought what goes in has to come out, so to speak. Please try to step away from google it will only drive you crazy.
