Ok, I'm a lurker but now need some advice, haven't been as careful as I should have been with regard to condoms (I know I would have lots of words with my eldest daughters in a similar situation!!). Last few periods have been 23, 21 and 23 days apart - I'm now on day 22 and I don't 'feel' that its going to start anytime soon - in actual fact just feel rather urgh and really tired - but that could be late nights - so the question is shall I test today, wait till tomorrow or leave for another few days and see what happens?

The complications are that its a fairly new relationship, I'm 45 and that he hasn't had any 'near misses' in any of his previous relationships and that my children are all over 18 and I can't really remember what it felt like when first pregnant with them. To be clear though a baby is not going to be a problem.

I have no idea when is the right time to test but I wanted to wish you well. I'm 45 too and just about to have my third round of donor ivf. So here's hoping 45 is just right Smile
