Yes, had faint line - in fact thought I was imagining it. REpteated the test next day - got another faint line. Then bought a more expensive test (Clearblue) and got a very definate line.

meggmoo, buy a digital test, there can be no faint or not faint, it will either say pregnant, or not pregnant.

I had a faint line, then a slightly stronger one a couple of days later. It turned out to be ectopic which was why it wasn't as strong as usual, but there are lots of other reasons for a faint result too that are far more likely, so please don't panic. Don't delay going to doctors if you get a pain in the side however.

Neighbour has seen it and she called me a silly moo and said of course it was +

Yes, I had one last Tuesday (few days before af due), unfortunately af came (early) last Thursday. Have now learned about "chemical" pregnancies (fertilisation without implantation). I think faintness was due to fact that af wasn't due when I tested and not anything to do with chemical pg. Will never test early again. So I'd say (and looking at all the other messages on this thread) that congrats are probably in order for you!
