I will be your conductor thread starter for all of us that are hoping for a BFP in October 2012.

Allow me to start.

jelly that's not good that you can't get an appointment this week. I'd say that it is urgent and try and get one on Friday.

Well I'm 9/10dpo I think. Have been feeling constantly nauseous and have had tingling/sore boobs for last few days. Trying not to get my hopes up! Going away for a long weekend tomorrow so I'm going to test when I get back.

I'm trying to decide what to make for a dinner party pudding next week and I think I'm going to go for mini tarlet size brownies, with a scoop of vanilla ice-cream and caramel sauce on top. hopefully they'll look like this. Just hoping they won't be too heavy after duck with sweet potato purée

Still no sign of AF, thinking of testing again tomorrow or maybe I should wait till friday. I'm trying not to get my hopes up but usually once my cycle settles back down to 28 days which it has done I'm as regular as clockwork, I'd normally get cramps the day before AF arrives so am thinking it won't arrive tomorrow either.

Need to keep calm, when would you retest?

jellycurls what is ferning saliva? Never heard of this.

lexie i didn't want to spend a fortune on ov sticks as used to have very irregular cycle so i bought a fertility microscope for about £10. You drop saliva on it every morning and let it dry then look at pattern it leaves. As you approach ovulation you produce more salt in saliva causing it to dry with a fern like pattern. Ferning gets more pronounced until ovulation then starts to go away again. Next morning you wipe lens and reuse.

Oh and checked after work and i appear to be ferning (2nd time this month)? Am so confused

Can't say for definite that AF is here but last night passed pink tinged cm blob ( if pregnant would say was my plug) sorry way tmi for this time of morning, and spotting this am. Good luck to all left on the bus

Sorry to hear that jellycurls fx that AF doesn't arrive.

I retested this morning, I'm using first responce test's as I saw on here that the pink dye tests are better, got a faint line, according to the instructions any second line is a positive, I'm going to go and buy more tests today and test again tomorrow as I don't feel confident to say it is + when it's so faint.

I'm hoping it's just faint because there isn't alot of the hormone yet.

What do you think?

Logically I know that there would be no line if it was negative, but I still don't feel completely confident with the result.

Well bfn for me this morning with FRER so it's final. Don't understand as v light spotting on what I thought close to ovulation then v v light spotting( not even enough to fill a panty liner, only to stain it) since Sunday. AF due Saturday.
Really gutted. Feel like giving up.
Now on to cycle 4. Wtf

I am feeling pessimistic about this month, curses to the MIL in the spare room I think we missed the best days. DTD every day from 4-10 (hollibob shagging) then only day 12 and 15 (today) thanks to jet lag/ houseguest combo. Had +opk day 11&12 and think I ov'd day 14. Fingers crossed for swimmers with stamina

Does anyone have any idea why I have had spotting which I have never had before,ever. And I don't suppose anyone has ever had a false negative with a FRER? Clutching at straws. We Dtd the day we got the smiley. So gutted.
