Lots of news on the October express anyway!

Im.on cd20, i usually ov around cd19 but all tell tale signs hav made themselves scarce this month & because of flippin.pcos i cant just use opks to see whats going on. Shagfest continues tho and tiny bit of blood in.cm today which maybe counts as spotting so could be sign of ov maybe or maybe i.ov early and its implantation.bleeding --or maybe its none of the above. These post-mc wft cycles are so confusing!!!

Good luck ladies poas today - anyone get up early and have a result for us yet?? Fx for u!! (wish i could fast forward a couple of weeks and test today as well!!)

I need someone to POAS! I've got two weeks before I can. :-/

I had no sticks to pee on this morning so will be tomorrow now (day AF due) for me. Recommendations on best early test to buy and anywhere for offers on? Good luck to all POAS this morning x

thanks shiney not sure I can make it to Boots today but will try. Are first response the best or am I better getting clear blue?

Jelly - supposedly tests with pink dye are more accurate, so that would but first response ahead of clear blue. Saying that I've had a false bfp with first response before so it's kind of put me off them and i also like the fact that clear blue shows a plus sign rather than two separate lines, it's a bit clearer...

PS) Clearblue 2 pack are down to £8 (from £11) in tesco

I always get tests from the pound shop or Poundland - either two or three tests for £1, and they do the job. Apparently you can also get them on eBay for 10 for a pound.

I have a twin pack of CB digital waiting at home for the right time. I wish this 2WW would hurry up!

Woodlands - I also have a soft spot for the poundland cheapies! Less organisation required than sourcing them on ebay, ordering them, waiting for them to arrive...sigh!

Taking - I know, right there with you. I don't even know if I've ov this month or not wahhhh but regardless def can't test for at least 10 days. Hurry up!!!

Does anyone know - after you get the smiley on CB digital ov sticks, when does the 2 ww start?

I tested this morning in an impatient sort of way - 4-5 days early! Unsurprisingly it was a BFN.

Woody I think the 2ww starts from the day you get the smiley! dont quote me on that though I may be talking complete garbage!

Woodlands sorry to hear its a bfn but as you say it is early hopefully end of week/next week you will get that bfp!

Ok, well I think I might now be in the 2ww, although as this is a wtf cycle, who knows? Maybe I had a surge but didn't ov and will end up ov later?

Do you all try to DTD on the day of the smiley and the day after?

Woody, I doubt you would have gotten the smiley if you didn't ov.

Yep, woody, i believe when you see the smiley it means shag like crazy that day AND the day after, just to be on the safe side

Woodlands - When I got pg in June I test with a tesco own brand test at 10 DPO and got a bfn but I just kind of knew I was pg so I waited til 12 DPO and did a brand name test and got bfp. So fx for you that u were just testing a bit too early. I know the temptation tho!! I will find it v hard to resist when it gets to next week...

I've had an upset tummy since y'day and that little bit of spotting last night. Anyone get ov spotting? I never have before but i've heard your cycle can be diff after mc so... Anyway, your thoughts please!!

Hi ladies, apologies for not getting on here in ages. Have been quite busy with work. Now that October's here I thought I'd join you for the action!

Massive congrats to Ella for the first BFP of the month! Sorry to those who have had AF turn up. Better luck next cycle.

Unfortunately AF caught me by surprise last week. I thought I was having another long cycle (the previous one was 37 days), but it was bang-on 28 days. Hopefully that means things are getting back to normal. This was only my third AF since having DS (15 months), and we're still breastfeeding. I've heard from others in this situation that it can be difficult to get PG until your cycles normalise, so fx for this cycle.

The good news is that a normal length cycle gives me another shot at a BFP in October, so I've moved myself down the list.

My AF not due until 5th/6th according to iPhone app but my mind said the 1st and er,

BFP can up with a first response test, afternoon wee and came up faster than you could say "holy shit we're having a baby"

Haven't told DH yet as he said he wanted to wait until the weekend, I needed to know before I went out on a hen night last night with a friend. I guess if I'm not pg at the weekend then I'll know it was a CP, I don't usually POAS but something told me that I should. That something being the fact I felt awful few days after OV, nausea in the evenings (same as with DC1), cramps and the fact I now loathe coffee again.
