I have a beautiful DS who was born late November last year by (unnecessary) c-section in Singapore.
We are thinking of TTC #2 from mid October. Anyone else TTC 11 months after a c-section? Am I mad?

Perfectly possible, a very good friend had a c-section (in Singapore, but very necessary) then another baby (not planned) within 12 months.

You probably are mad though Grin .

Did your friend conceive within 12 months, or have her DC within 12 months?

I'd like to try for a VBAC

Conceived and delivered within 12 months. Crazy, eh!

C-sections are very common in Singapore, but don't beat yourself up about it. It was most likely the best decision you could make at the time. You have a healthy baby. The birth is such a small part of the rest of your lives. Enjoy your baby. Good luck with TTC'ing. VBAC's are possible too, but each pregnancy and delivery is different. You can make the decisions (in a more informed way) closer to the time.

Thanks humble.
You're right...at the time, I believed my OB. Now I know so much better.
I was left quite traumatised by my birth experience in general, so physically, yes, I have my healthy baby. Emotionally, I'm still healing. BUT I know better for next time Smile
