Post MC cycle - how long was yours?

Hi Everyone,

I had a natural miscarriage at the end of July and still in the same cycle. It has been 37 days so far (CD1 from heaviest day of bleeding) an no sign of AF or BFP. I was only 6.5 weeks gone and I am starting to stress about it (probably not helping!) and wondered how long was your cycle post MC. I really want to have a fresh start to draw a line under it and properly start TTC again! Thanks!

Sorry to hear of your loss. My natural mc was 23/6 and first AF was 30/07 so 37 days. No warning it was coming and slightly heavier then a "normal" AF but it will happen.

Hello, sorry that you have been going through this. I had a natural miscarriage last year and had a period within 6 weeks but I think anything up to about 8 is entirely normal, and I know that for some women it can take a while longer.. The fact that it all happened naturally for you may be a good sign (well, as good as such a thing can be) as your body "realised" what was happening and is already in the process of regulating your hormones back to normal, so try not to worry. My first period after the miscarriage was just like a normal period and my cycle went completely back to normal after that.
