Hi,
We had our SA results today. Doctor said that we should just pick up the results and they can be discussed when we are referred (dh and I are registered at different doctors and mine are referring us) thought that was quite bad practice, when dh asked about it they said "some bits are slightly low, but it is doubtful that it would have clinical effect on fertility"

Basically is that good or bad?!

Waiting for him to bring it back, he has a late meeting. The thing the receptionist pointed out that he needed to look at was 59% progressive mobility?

59% progressive is good. Need the other numbers to see if it looks normal or not.

Happilymarried155 · 03/09/2012 21:28

Morphology is 1% that isn't good is it :(

Don't get hung up on the results of one test.
My DH's first test was not brilliant, not bad, but not really up to required level. Anyway, he had a retest and the results were better that the doctor had ever seen! Nothing changed in between, it was just too different tests. Don't worry too much.

Christelle2207 · 04/09/2012 12:51

ours are 3% mobility and we were told that's fine as long as the count is high. however we are not pg. mind you if count is normal 1% is still several million good uns.

MikeLitorisRings · 04/09/2012 13:04

It really does depend on the overall count.

My dp had 2 tests both with low count and poor morphology (1% and 3%)

Even with crap results I managed to get pg 5 times in just over 2yrs.

Is he on any vits?

Happilymarried155 · 04/09/2012 13:09

He is taking zinc and has been for about the last two months, has a very good diet and rarely drinks.

Thanks! Hopefully stories!

My DH took multivitamins, that's all. Doesn't really drink though.

MikeLitorisRings · 04/09/2012 13:50

My dp took a men's vitamin and supplement called pycnogenol (sp).

I can't remember all the numbers but there was a big improvement in his test results.
