Dh on Prednisone......is this ANOTHER hurdle in the horrible ttc journey?

My dh has a medical condition and has been put on prednisone about a month ago.

He asked the doctor if it affected fertility and the doctor said no but dr google seems to think otherwise.

I admit I am a bit ott on google but I can't help being worried. Does anyone else have experience of their dp being on this drug and gone on to conceive? We went back to the doctor but he just said "come back if you're not pregnant in a year". We have already been ttc a yr but because I have been pregnant in that time (ectopic) we have to go away and carry on trying. Dh was not on prednisone when I fell pregnant before.

Just wondering whether we should give up. :(

Hi Ilove I have no experience but chatted to you on another thread and just wanted to say hi and hugs. Just done my monthly poas and of course it's negative. First appt with GP tomo to see about fertility tests as my last cycle was a huge 45 days Dh only wants to keep trying til Xmas and then call it a day. So I sympathise with feeling like giving up and defeated. Hope someone helpful comes on soon!

Just realised the meds are PREDNISOLONE which i think is the same?? Oh this is so rubbish.

i maybe getting this totally wrong here so sorry if what i say isnt relevant.
prednisolone is something that they give to help treat high natural killer cells which cause mc's. it helps you have a healthy pregnancy. so i cant see it being anything but a good thing that he is taking it
