This is my first month of ttc after coming off the pill. I was only on the pill for five months, and it just didn't suit me (bleeding mid month etc) but before that I had a very regular 23-27 day cycle.
Today is 27 days since my last 'period' started, which was mid pill packet, and I stopped the pill 25 days ago (just gave up on it, and started ttc!)

Yesterday I kept going dizzy (could not have been due to lack of food!) and one spell was so bad everything went a bit black and I had to sit down (I have never fainted in my life). I've had sore nipples (sorry if TMI) since Sunday too...

I have no idea - given I'm just off the pill - if and when I should do a test? Or if this is all in my mind (is dizziness even a symptom?!)

Any advice greatly appreciated!

You should do a test to find out! Normally if you end a pill mid packet it brings on menstration which I think then resets the clock and some pregnancy tests can detect pregnancy up to 6 days before period is due.. But don't worry if the test comes back negative - your cycle might be longer than normal as it's the first one after pill - so you may have ovulated later than a normal 23-27 day cycle this time). I got pregnant after just one normal cycle post 10 yrs on the Yasmin so am proof the pill doesn't always hold things up. Earliest symptoms for me were: excessive thirst, headache (unusual for me), tiredness and a bit of dizzyness. I also had a bit of spotting around the time of my period which can be confusing...

Good luck!
