How long do WTF cycles last??

Just that really.??... Since my MMC in April AF has been on time once & that was the first month afterwards. Since then...I have been late each month by a few days..hence getting my hopes up as we are ttc & I hate the waiting for the AF hag to arrive. :(
Can anyone give me any insight on why, hen it stops or of anything I can take to sort it out?

Hi wifey, sorry to hear about your MMC.

You need to not think of your period being 'late'. What has happened is that your cycles have got longer - maybe before they were 28 days and now they are 30 days long. This means it's probably taking your body a bit longer to ripen and release an egg at the beginning of your cycle. Lots of people (including me) have cycles that vary by a few days from month to month and it can be totally normal (if a bit annoying).

I'm sorry I don't think anyone could tell you how long it will be til your cycles go back to the length they were before. But you will be less frustrated if you don't expect them to be on whatever day you've got in your mind as 'on time' if a new normal for you at the moment is a couple of days longer than it used to be. Hope that makes sense!

Hi wifey I'm finally having a more normal cycle this month (still 4/5 days longer than usual though) - mmc was early June, at 11.5 weeks. My cycles went the other way - 1 was 17 days long! Another I bled from cd11-16. So it's a relief to have a positive opk at cd 11 - fingers crossed! Hope AF starts behaving soon for you; it's so frustrating when you just want to be pregnant again

I had one that lasted 12 extremely long weeks. I had accunpuncture in the end and came on the next day. don't know if it was coincidence but there are plenty on people online who had af the day after acu as well.
