My ovulation stick now have a little smiley face to show the LH surge. So...I now need to have sex in the next 24/48 hours. Tonight and tomorrow night or too late? (We're staying at friends so sneaking off at toddlers nap time is not possible !) Then when do I actually ovulate? Is there any point (in the case of baby making Wink to having sex after tomorrow?

Thanks!

Any time in the next 24-48 hours from the positive opk should be fine!

Thanks - does it mean I will ovulate after the LH surge or is that basically happening now too? My cycle is quite irregular so I'm trying to work out when I'm due on next...so I'll know when to test if it gets to that point!

After tomorrow night is the baby making over for this month?

Thanks

OPKs aren't an exact science and you can't wholly really on them. Look out for other signs too like egg white cervical discharge. It means that an LH surge has been detected in your urine but that doesn't guarantee you'll ovulate after that surge - some things can delay ovulation like illness, surgery. The best way to guarantee you've hit the right time is to have sex 3 times a week, every week of your cycle rather than timing intercourse to the OPKs because if you don't ovulate after the positive OPK you could miss it!

Thanks for your help!
