Vasectomy - would they automatically let you know if the first sample was positive?

I'm feeling really odd at the moment and a few things are pointing towards the need to POAS. The thing is DH has the snip a couple of months ago. He has just recently submitted his second sample last week. Am I clutching at straws to think that they would notify you if your first sample was in fact positive?

Mmm, not sure they would tell you TBH - you are normally told to wait for two clear samples so I think they write after the second and say OK all clear.

Someone wiser may be along but I wouldn't assume no news is good news with anything medical.

No they don't. You are categorically old to wait for 2clear samples before having unprotected sex if you want to avoid pregnancy! I would def go poas if I were you!

Told not old, sorry

Thank you I will do in a few days, I think it is too early yet. I know we should have waited, but we were being uncharacteristically spontaneous!
