Can anyone answer this question? I have a bag full of IVF drugs that I didnt need because I got pregnant naturally. I really am not sure what to do with them. I feel they are sat here wasting away and they cost £900. What should I do. What am I allowed to do with them?

When and where did you get the IVF drugs from?.

I would speak to the clinic that provided you with same for their instructions. You may have to prepare yourself for the outcome that they may not be able to take them back.

No I spoke to them they cant take them back but putting £900 of unopened drugs into the bin is criminal I think especially when there are desperate people out there. I just cant do it! But I may not have an option. The clinic say 'Its in case they've been tampered with'. What kind of sick person would do that! Especially one whose been through part of that process herself.

I still have some too and dd is almost 11 months. Also have a load of needles and a sharps box in the top of the wardrobe. I was told to keep it all, neither clinic wanted them back ( I was treated by 2). They're out of date now I think. I'd give them back to the clinic (if they'll let you!!)

you're right, it is such a waste Sad.

I had a feeling they would say they cannot take them back. I had a similar issue with my prescribed injectible drugs but as I hadn't collected them these went to someone else.

Will the clinic be willing to dispose of them for you especially if you've got sharps (needles) and such like?.

is that for me? No, they didn't want those either which is mad really. I was told to keep them originally as they said 'if you keep them, you won't need them' as in, they said that just after I became pg with dd and as i'd m/c the 2 before I suppose they thought it may bring luck, which it did Smile
