how many days after ovulation can you / did you first suspect you may be pregnant?

so, i should know this already but how many days after ov should you be able to tell that you are pg, without doing a test? and how do people not go crazy with all the wondering if they are/if theyre not?

have been half heartedly trying (ie sex when it can be managed) in a kind of 'we will leave it to fate as we cant really make a decision' kind of way but nothing doing yet. am BFing but having periods so i must be ovulating do you think?

but this month according to MN and therefore it must be true the most fertile time was late last week. managed to dtd twice at weekend and had CM on sun (sorry if TMI). and have booked a fab weekend with lots of champagne for my birthday next month and holiday for next year. so i really must be up the duff now right Smile?

I was wondering the same thing and did some Googling obviously everything on there is true and it said 7-10 days you could be pg but nothing will show up on a pg test until 4 days until your missed AF if that makes sense. Whens your AF due?

I am stressing about it too but my AF is due Sun so we will see! Good luck x

Hi shelley welcome to the joy of the 2 week wait. Grin Feel free to stick around and symptom spot and go a bit loopy with us over in the August fred. Although you would like you'd fit in the just shagging Fred.

I think 10or11 dpo is the earliest, depending on how sensitive your test is.

thank you both. i dont feel at all pregnant, but then it could be very early days. i think AF should be due around the weekend of 1/2 september. i may pop over to the other thread and symptom spot - will give me something to take my mind off everythign else going on at the moment Sad.

the 'just shagging' thread well that sounds interesting Grin

Been preg twice and sorry to say but had no idea the first time until about 5.5 weeks so at least 14 DPO. Ditto the second time. Good luck!

BTW, yeah, once holiday booked, it's a cert thinks longingly of fab 40th birthday trip to Japan which had to be cancelled as by then 5 months gone which wouldn't have suited lots of sake and sushi
