I'm a bit scared! Been thinking for ages about when we could start, and today we did. And it would be a first baby and I'm talking about it in the only place I know I can be anonymous (I change my name a lot). Wow. We did it, it's vaguely the right time of the month, and it was awesome.

Ah that's nice:) Now for the dreaded two week wait! DH and I concieved DS without meaning to, and I'm currently pg with no2. It felt a little strange to have SWI I must admit! But it is lovely. Best of luck!

Thank you! We had originally meant to start in December, so I'm hoping that will it feels low pressure. But it would be the perfect time if it did work this month for lots of reasons :)

Isn't it strange spending all these years of one's life trying to avoid getting pregnant, then suddenly having to forget all this?

And cursing AF when it arrives, rather than doing a little 'woohoo' I'm not pg dance:)

Hi Talyra, if you don't mind sharing are you DTD every other day? Or just a more relaxed approach? It'll be our turn to start soon and it's hard not to think about it!

Just a more relaxed approach. I don't want to stop sex feeling like sex and become just about conceiving. Being the carefree childless couple that we are though, we both get twitchy if we've not have sex for more than a couple of days anyway. I did find the feeling of having thrown caution to the wind to be a bit of a boost to my sex drive which is a bonus and his is high unless he's tired or stressed. But yeah, I have it in my head a bit. I think because I'm usually aware of what's going on with my fertility it is an extra motivator to have sex when I know it's the right time.

I hope to follow similar approach, I do understand where you're coming from . How are you doing anyway? Hope all is well!

I'm good! The indecision's vanished now, which is nice, but the uncertainty about when it will happen is hard.

I'm with you Talyra! I'm in my late 30's and actively TTC for the first time and it's so odd after all these years to be wanting the opposite to usual. I've just come off the pill though and it's 28 days on Monday - am totally symptom spotting! I know it's highly unlikely given my age as much as anything, but still hoping that the fact I've been having mad dreams, sore nipples and also have woken up twice a night needing a pee for the last two nights (despite restricting liquid last night) might be a sign. Having said that, it could easily be in my head! Fingers crossed for you.

Hi Janey and Talyra. How are you? I've on holidays for 10 days and it was lovely. Kept my mind off the waiting game but we are back home now and im thinking about it more and more. We should know in a week or so, but that seems so long to wait. I really am trying not to think about it too much but it is really on my mind! I don't want to get my hopes up, im excited but also nervous.... Just wondering if either of you feel the way I do at all? In reality im just happily getting on with life, and every so often the thought will cross my nind - "am I?" :-)
