Would pale pee make a difference?

Just out of curiosity really, but wondering if pale, dilute pee effects results of preg tests and ov sticks? I think I read somewhere that if not using first morning urine you should ideally not have peed for 4/5 hours before taking a test - is this true? Thing is I very rarely last that long and my pee is always very pale (sorry tmi). Last month I tried ov sticks but showed negative even when I had lots of ewcm, could this be why or is it common to get cm and not ovulate?

Sorry, this is a very rambling stupid post!Blush

I think the answer to your first question is no.

Urine should ideally be a pale colour.

OPK's measure the amount of Lutenising hormone. They work on the principles that women have one rise in LH every month and that such rises are immediately followed by ovulation. Both of these statements however, are not true. Women can have more than one rise in LH every month and such rises are not automatically followed by ovulation.

If your periods are also irregular in nature then this is good enough reason alone not to use them.

The surest way to know if ovulation is happening or otherwise is to have blood tests done to see what your hormone levels are like.

Bobblehead, you're not using the ov sticks using morning wee are you, because you should use wee from after 10am.
