Ovulation question

I've been using an OPK and from other posts on here I understand that it can only detect the LH surge and the egg dropping could be anytime after.
My question is, can the same be said for EWCM? When I've noticed that, where is the egg, is it possible to know?

Sorry if this is a stupid question, I was never much good at biology :-/

Personally I find that I OV the first day the EWCM stops.

I would see ewcm for two to three days before I ovulated and the OPKs would be positive say the second day of ewcm. Based on this cycle I had ewcm one day and must have ovulated the following day or day after.

Hiya, dont know if this will help but saw a post a while ago on how to tell if you are fertile its all about recognising your body signs, it was from a natural fertility expert so you may find it useful to read, she also answers questions, I sent her a couple myself, Ha!!
