First wee in the morning then, good luck!

Doctors appt isnt till a week on Friday, though fingers crossed everything has calmed down now, except massively sore, swollen boobs! My 3yo keeps throwing her head back on them, ouch!

NoTeaForMe · 10/09/2012 20:32

Does it have to be the first wee of the morning? Regardless of the result my husband would like to be here and not be rushing out the door for work! Can I do it in the evening? Thanks

Glad things have calmed down Littlest though sore boobs with a head banging tooled doesn't sound nice. Hopefully you'll get some answers at your appointment.

It's just that the first wee in the morning is supposed to be more accurate for an earlier test as the hormones have built up overnight... I think it's more likely to give a false negative later one, when it's not so concentrated?

Almost at end of 2ww here..AF due fri this week but will test on Saturday if no sign as out with friends in sat eve..want to know how much lovely wine I can have Wink. But don't feel any different tbh so don't think this is our month either Sad.

Evening ladies, can I join you Smile

Hubby and are ttc#2 we have a 23 month DS and have been npnt for several months, we decided to concentrate on it more this month. Last month was only a 24 day cycle, the previous was 26.

EWCM on cd 11 and 12, dtd on cd 8, 10, 12 and 15 - missed 13 and 14 due to cystitis. Got what felt like ov pains on cd 15 but that didn't tie in with cm or previous cycle length

For the last 2 days I have had small little sharp stabby pains in my abdomen mostly on the left side, in fact I have a very slight dull ache there now. No other symptoms apart from eating like a horse today and both yesterday and today I've wanted to chew gum all day to stop myself eating. Prob not a symptom - I'm just a greedy mare!

Desperate to POAS but trying to resist the urge, today was cd 19 and according to my calculations 7dpo. Going away on Saturday with friends and tempted to test before we go.

Oh - for those worried about drinking (or not and being obvious at functions) my midwife friend said that until 8 weeks embryo isn't taking anything from mum so a small glass of wine etc shouldn't be a problem - critical non drink weeks are 8-12 when spine and brain are forming (think it's those bits anyway) x

Welcome to anyone just joining and congrats to BFP's Grin

Flipping fed up, no DTD this past cycle due to DPs painful knees, af due tomoro but nothing. Doubt we'll DTD next cycle due to DP having an accident and now he has a hole in his finger, when I say hole it goes in one side, through his finger and out the other. Sad

Sorry Bazzle havent been posting on here for a few days (getting a bit fed up with it all) but am still reading, how are the Octuplets? Any horrible symptoms or you not doing so bad now?

Congrats NoTea! Hoping for a nice smooth pregnancy and lovely healthy little baby in about 81/2 months! (Thats 8 and a half not 81 or 82 months!)

Fx Dana not out yet!

Oh dear Winter hows he done that? Is ther anything you can do to look forward to and take your mind off it for the next 6 weeks or so if dtd just isnt going to happen? No doubt I'll see you next month too!

Granny I didnt feel any different either when it was the bfp month with ds (couldnt understand why pg women moaned about it being so hard until week 9 when morning sickness kicked in with a vengence!) A glass or 3 or wine isnt going to hurt though....getting to weekend now, any signs?

Haribo Welcome! reading your post it all sounds positive, you might not be on here too long! When is AF due/you thinking of testing?

I think my AF is next Sunday (23rd-ish) so just plodding along til then....tiny bit of good news though is that it was our anniversary on Wednesday and DP proposed!

Hope everyone else is doing ok?

Yay, Eddie, a wedding to plan as well! Depending on the length of the engagement, hoping for a cut little pageboy/flower girl to join the party!

Report
Grannyapple · 14/09/2012 17:51

Ooh huge congrats eddie on the engagement!! Thx for asking...no AF as yet so will test tomorrow if nothing happens tonight. Boobs have been a bit sore when lying on my front, had some lower back pain & have a bit of discharge today so thinking AF is defo on way (though I had a lot of discharge early on when pg with ds). Constantly tired too at the mo but that's prob more to do with running after ds.

Evening ladies. Well did a test 1st thing (cheapie sainsbury's one). Horizontal line appeared straight away, but half the vertical line only showed up...& after the 10 mi s, so think its a BFN. Still no AF but will leave it til Tuesday now. So will be hitting the vino tonight Grin.

Hope everyone is having a nice relaxing w/e.

Any sign of AF Grannyapple?
Is half a line the same as a faint line? Bit strange that.

Report
Grannyapple · 16/09/2012 11:02

littlest no sign yet...googled stuff yesterday & apparently sainsbury's & blue dye tests are notorious for evap lines?! Was a bit faint too tho dh saw it too...think I will get some first response ones later

Ok - I feel like a proper whinger after all the fuss I made a few weeks back but - not bled since the 5th, followed by what seemed like Ewcm in the last couple of days, which would be exactly the right time if this was a proper cycle and I was actually ovulating, which I don't know if I am!.... So, this month ( assuming all is well and cycle has returned!) AF should be due around the 29th... Which, having dtd at the relevant times in the last few days, puts me at the beginning of the two week wait... Crossing my fingers that it's not a false hope and actually things are returning to normality, and I can go to the docs on Friday and tell them everything is ok ad I don't need horrid internal exam after all!

NB internal exam sounded just like a smear to me when she described it - if there is even a remote chance of being pregnant, is that a good idea?

Hi littlest..I have absolutely no idea, but think it would be ok? Just thinking that some people have transvaginal scans as their 1st scans etc, so must be similar (in that they check if cervix is closed)? Sorry if tmi.. But I'm sure if you ask (& honestly, it won't be a silly question...quite a reasonable one I would think), I'm sure doc will be able to advise/reassure you.

When is the doc appt? Good luck for it & hope it all goes well.
