Aw, dana it's pants.

I spoke too soon; AF is back again.

Shall we share the wine, or a bottle each? Wine

Report
PurpleDana · 18/09/2012 07:49

Let's share several bottles, doesn't sound as bad as a bottle each :-)

Dana and littlest - hope the wine has helped, bleeding crappy when AF shows up isnt it? Are you doing anything nice in the next few days, try and take your mind off it for a few hours? (As hard as that is, I know)

Littlest Have you seen anyone about this bleeding?

I'm due around this Sunday I think so we'll see...feel a bit bad actually, my friend from nct (our DS's are the same age so we see each other every week or 2) has just announced she's 8 weeks with her second DC and I found it really hard to say congratulations - I did obviously and asked lots of questions and acted really pleased for them etc (and I am) but I just felt a bit sad and jealous really, thats pathetic isnt it?! I really must get over myself

Hope everyone else is doing well, cracking on :)

Doing anything nice in the next few days? Other than work, and looking forward to an internal exam/smear thingy on Friday, er no :-(
Bet they can't even do the exam thingy If I'm still bleeding. Just feel knackered all the time. Bet it's iron deficiency as lost so much blood. Bah.

Report
PurpleDana · 18/09/2012 14:35

Eddie I know how crappy u feel, when I was ttc 5yrs ago 2 of my cousins got caught and had girls (jealous), and my best friend got caught accidentally and had an abortion :-( I was so upset and angry with her cos I was jealous that I actually couldn't speak to her at all for nearly 2 months.
I am determined I won't let it get to me to that extent this time.

Report
EddieIzzardIsOrange · 18/09/2012 15:22

Littlest Is the scan to see why you're still bleeding? Please keep nagging everyone (medically!) about this, ask to see a consultant etc, this about of constant bleeding sounds awful and so draining...are you taking any iron tablets too?
Anyway you can crowbar anything nice in? Box of chocs, favourite dvd, hot interrupted bath with a trashy magazine? You sound like you could do with a treat

Dana I know, its just a crazy mental place you get to isnt it? Think they've been trying about the same amount of time we have and have had a miscarriage on the way so they've had it so rough and now a lovely healthy little baby will be a blessing so deserved for them and I dont begrudge them it for a second, am so pleased for them etc.....just wish I could be doing it too

Hello all! Can I join in? We started TTC DC2 this month - hoping for BFP in 9 days & counting! On the one hand I'm quite hopeful given that DS1 happened after the first month TTC but then again I almost feel like that was too easy so it's going to be harder this time...! That utterly ridiculous & irrational fear and the fact that we only managed to dtd once about 48hrs pre-o makes me doubtful that we'll get our BFP this month... But then I have been feeling like something's different over the last few days! Probably just wishful thinking!

Report
littlestgirlguide · 19/09/2012 12:44

Welcome, Jojoba, hope you can cheer us up, we're a miserable bunch at the moment!

Yes, Granny, nurse referred me for this test to try to find out the reason behind all the bleeding, hope they can answer it for me. It's awful today, really heavy and painful.

Is anyone not out for this month yet? Need some good news!

Hello everybody, can I join too. We have being TTC DC2 for about 4 months now, I am completely clueless in regards to my cycles/ovalation etc as since I stopped BF it's being all other the placeHmm
We conceived DD straight away. I am at the moment trying not to get too hung up on it but I was secretly hoping that it would be the same this time.

Welcome Jojoba and Madame! I promise we're not usually this depressive and whingy, just seems to have been a bad few days for some of us...lets hope you cheer us all up though with nice quick bfp's!

Hi everyone, can I join too? We've just started TTC #2 this month. DD was a lovely surprise, so this is the first time I've really had to think about fertility/cycles, I'm a bit confused still!

Hoping we won't be trying for too long, but from what I've been reading its not always as easy as the 1st!

Report
EddieIzzardIsOrange · 21/09/2012 09:13

Hi Kelly, lots of newbies atm (and us older posters still here, all whingy and jaded!)
How 'up to speed' are you with it all? Know your cycle length and approx day of ovulation etc?

Granny how you doing today?
We've set a 'kinda' date for the wedding - our anniversary in 2015 falls on a Saturday so we're thinking then, also DP is (hopefully, fx!) going to do another degree in a few weeks which is a 3 year commitment so it'll be after he's finished (and hopefully when we've had another baby so I can attempt to slim into a dress!)

AF due Sunday....no signs as yet....

Hows everyone else?

Report
Kelly281 · 21/09/2012 19:43

No not even that up to speed yet, I have an idea of my cycle length, but not exact dates. I need to remember to keep a note over the next couple of months to get a better idea.

Hope you get a BFP this month Eddie :)

littlestgirlguide · 22/09/2012 21:44

Welcome to all our newbies - how are you all getting on?

Any sign of AF Eddie?

My test thingy yesterday was pretty unpleasant, inconclusive and messy. Now awaiting results, and have an appointment with gynae specialist on wednesday....

My sister in law has given me a load of ovulation test sticks today - 100 or so! - for future consideration, has anybody used them? Are they any good? Obviously can't use them ATM, but when issues are sorted, I may try them. See, staying positive! :-)

Report
EddieIzzardIsOrange · 23/09/2012 12:31

Kelly Yea, try and make a note of things like cycle length, if you get CM (cervical mucus - nice I know!) or ovulation pain, fx for you! Are you using OPKs (ovulation predictor kits)?

Littlest - I used them for a few months but never got a spike so went to the doctors and had bloods done to see if i was ovulationg (tests came back I was) and she said they just dont work for some people so I stopped. Apparently you're not to use FMU (mid-afternoon is best) and its got to be about that time every day. Hope they work for you and these problems go soon so you can crack on! Are they doin any tests etc for it?

AF due today and as of yet....no sign

PurpleDana · 23/09/2012 17:21

fx Eddie
af finished but got a touch of thrush -again- which is frustrating us.
Does anyone else suffer with thrush alot, particularly following af?? Do you think it affects chances of conception?

Report
EddieIzzardIsOrange · 24/09/2012 19:12

Errmmm...I think I'm pregnant! Didnt get AF all day yesterday so poas first thing (at work!) and git a bfp! It was a clearblue one so no guessing, got a 'pregnant' and '2-3 weeks' so looks like (all being well) we're on for a baby!

Hope everyone else is ok? I'm gonna hang around here a bit if thats ok?

littlestgirlguide · 24/09/2012 19:32
