So went to the doctors and got the results of my bloods, progesterone is apparently normal but cycle still all over the place...

Coming to the end of af now so shagging will start in earnest in a few days....

What's ewcm? (at least I think that's what it was!) I'm presuming that 2ww is the 2 week wait after shagging before knowing if you're pregnant or not? There were some others but can't remember now!

I had a smiley face on my OPK (!) on Monday had been having a lot of sex in the run up and am planning on having sex til the end of the week just in case! My cycle is anywhere between 26-32 days so the longer I have sex the less of a wait at the other to end to see if I'm pregnant! Does that make sense?!

POAS again today, in comparison to the one I did few days back which was a very faint pos, today it was a matter of seconds before the line made an appearance, and ended up really quite a strong line.

Last time (the MC) all the tests I did were massively faint, as in me and DP had to stand under the light with them.

No mistaking this one though, I'm getting cautiously excited but still find myself just waiting for the rug to be ripped out from under my feet.

FFS. If I'd known having the nexplanon out would cause this much hassle I would never have had it put in. Think AF is starting again - third time in less than six weeks. How long does it take to get back to normal?!!

Are you ready for another stupid question from me?!

The LH surge that the OPK monitors...does that happen just before ovulation or as you ovulate or what? If the kit showed the surge on Monday when was I likely to ovulate? I felt a bit funny the couple of days before the kit showed up too!

NoTea no question is stupid! If you get a positive on an opk (so a surge of LH) then generally ovulation will happen within about 24-48 hours after (but obviously everyone is different) so if doing the SMEP get shagging on the day you get a positive and for the next 2 consecutive days then miss a day and do the day after that...

So a positive on Monday (presuming afternoon) means you could have ovulated anywhere between late on Monday to early on Thursday, yea?

I got a smiley face on Monday morning. We had sex Monday afternoon and tuesday night. We didn't on Wed but did Thurs. Should we carry on every other night or is our chance over now?

NoTea sorry! SMEP is 'Sperm Meets Egg Plan', a plan some people follow as its (apparently) got quite good success rates, it was on the other thread but the basics are:

• Dtd every other night starting Day 8
  

• Begin ovulation testing on Day 10
  

• When test is positive, "try" that night, plus two additional nights in a row
  

• Skip one night, then do one last "try"
  

• If your ovulation test never goes positive, continue "trying" every other night until Day 35, then do a pregnancy test if your period has not begun.
  

• For shorter cycles just take off a few days and for longer cycles just add on the right amount of days so for example a 30 day cycle start dtd every other night from day ten and ov testing from day 12
  

I'd give it one last go tonight, you never know..when did you last dtd before Monday as there may have been sperm hanging around from then that would've done the job too?

I recently ha my 3rd mc.
Decided rather than lets see why happens approach.
Myself and my partner have agreed to trying properly!
I have aspirin at the ready and mum to be vitamins ready to go!
Af due in 5days.
Awaiting ovulation strips to arrive.
Fingers crossed we will all be happy in a few months xx

We were dtd (presuming that's doing/did/do the deed) quite regularly in the run up, pretty much every night really, we missed one night over the weekend but I'm not sure which and we didn't on the previous Wed but I'm guessing that's too early to count now anyway! OK, so we will tonight aswell and then it's the dreaded waiting...

I can't help but get my hope up, am reading into everything far too much, I felt quite queasy last night but I know it's too early to mean anything! Ridiculous!

Ok, bear with me here. There will be TMI, sorry! This morning I thought AF was on her way, pinkish discharge and very slight cramping... Followed by a small amount of brown blood, and since lunchtime, nothing at all. Now, I had AF at the beginning of August, then had implant taken out mid month, immediately followed by another short AF. Signs of ovulation (Ewcm) 9 days ago, dtd at that time, now this....
Now, I am fully aware that I am probably imagining things, I just need some sensible, level-headed mumsnetters to tell me so!

Hi all. Can I join you? Ttc number 2 for about 8 months now. Really going for it this month (am on holiday!)! Pretty sure I ovulated yesterday, just dtd - did we leave it too late? We had been dtd every day up till weds then had 2 days off- am kicking myself now!!

Theres a good chance you'll still have a decent chance this month - remember sperm can live for up to 5 days so you'll have some left from all the times you dtd before OV and then eggs can live for around 24 hours so you still could have caught it when you dtd on Friday too...fx crossed for you too, we're at about 8 months trying now too

I have no idea when AF is due; all totally messed up due to coming off the implant. Bleeding started again this morning, now stopped again.. Nothing like a normal AF, an not even like the ones I've had since the implant came out....
POAS today (had an old one in the cupboard) BFN of course, which I was expecting, it's too soon really. I think it's just the bleeding, coupled with constipation (sorry!), knackeredness and generally just wanting to be pregnant that's messing with my head.

I'm due on anytime from Saturday next week, (that would be a 26 day cycle and I'm anywhere from 26-32 normally!) if my OPK showed up on Monday morning how many days past ovulation would that make me now? I know that's a stupid question by the way...!
