1st month of TTC baby no 2. I am 5 days post ovulation and feeling very strange, bloated and 'stretchy' abdomen (!). I am only day +16 of cycle so have a test a week to wait until I test.
Just mu mind playing tricks?

I knew about a week before AF was due - I was away for the weekend, feeling really rotten as I'd just had pleurisy and thought that was why I was cramping. Kept expecting AF to arrive early because of antibiotic, but it never happened.

I just felt it in my gut somehow. Also boobs tender, etc, made me think twice about whether it really was AF.

Countmyblessings · 15/08/2012 12:32

It's a hard one as pregnancy signs are just like AF but I
Usually get some brown streaks the day before plus cramping but had none!!! Then had strong feelings of sickness??? Done a cheapy on day cd 25 and got a faint line had to hold in light!!! Left for cd 27 done another faint line but I could see it! Had backache got out my cb with morning pee and took forever but came up pregnant 2-3!!!!
Good luck!!!

As has been said, it is very easy to confuse pregnancy symptoms with normal cycle behaviour.

I've been TTC for 2+ years now and have been "convinced" I was pregnant on at least 4 occasions Blush

It is your first month, sit back and relax. It will happen but you will drive yourself insane if you symptom spot and POAS every time you feel a twinge Grin

First time, the day after a missed period. I'm never late so the day after, although I had no 'symptoms' other than being late, I took a test and hey presto!

This time, I was due last Friday. In the run-up to AF, I usually get very tender boobs, so I would have been very tender last Monday. On Wednesday, I realised they weren't. On Friday, nothing happened (no show from AF), so I did a test (a Tescos own brand one that I bought on Thursday). It came up negative initially but I couldn't shake the feeling that things weren't right so I went to Boots and bought some Boots ones and some Clearblue digital. The Boots ones came up negative (but I was doing them in the middle of the day) but the clearblue ones both said 'pregnant 1-2'. Can you tell how much I doubted the whole thing - we've been trying 2 years and I just couldn't believe it might have happened.
So I'll be five weeks on Friday, and 'knew' from last Monday. albeit in a "I mustn't get my hopes up but I really can't help thinking that maybe this time..."
I'm going with ClearBlue on the basis that false negatives are far more common than false negatives, and that i was doing the tests at the wrong time of day, and that I'm nearly a week overdue now which would be a first!

Have been pregnant six times. Wasn't really aware the first couple of times, but once I knew the "pregnant" feeling, I usually get it around a week after ovulation, and it intensifies until it's unmistakeable around 10 days past ovulation with full on fatigue, cravings and a decrease in appetite. I usually test positive 9dpo (days past ovulation) or so. I've never felt that particular way on cycles when I'm not pregnant, even if TTC as I know TTC-brain can make you think a lot of things!!

Good luck!!

IBelieveInPink · 15/08/2012 22:31

I am also TTC (number 1, cycle1), and in the middle of the 2ww. I am currently driving myself absolutely nuts with all the 'symptoms' I am spotting! Am sure it is just because I have read that these things should be happening so my TTC-brain is making it so!
Good luck newchoos fx for your BFP next week Smile

HaveALittleFaith · 16/08/2012 05:15

I've been TTC for a long time (2 1/2 years). I've been convinced a few times when I wasn't. I remember my sister saying she just knew and I didn't think after ttc so long I would. But about 10dpo this cycke I wouldn't say I 'knew' so much as had a funny feeling. Irony of course because we were going to stop TTC for a while. I had funny do at work when my blood sugar dropped about 13dpo and was sick twice at 14dpo so I tested and got a BFP!
